though the mountains quake and totter.
For the Lord of hosts is with us,
the God of Jacob, our stronghold. |
| 4海涛尽管汹涌翻腾，山岳尽管因浪震动：与我们同在的，是万军的天主，雅各伯的天主是我们的保护。（休止） | 4There is a river whose streams bring joy to the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells. |
| 5河流要使天主的城邑欢乐，即至高者所住的至圣居所， | 5God is within, the city cannot quake,
for God's help is upon it at the break of day. |
| 6天主定居其中，此城决不动摇；清晨曙光一现，天主即加扶牢。 | 6Kingdoms tottered, nations were in turmoil;
at the sound of his voice the earth melts away. |

the God of Jacob, our refuge. |
