| 1法利塞人和撒杜塞人，为试探耶稣，前来求他给他们显一个来自天上的征兆。 | 1And there came to him the Pharisees and Sadducees tempting: and they asked him to shew them a sign from heaven. |
| 2耶稣回答他们说：「到了晚上，你们说：天色发红，必要放晴。 | 2But he answered and said to them: When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red. |
| 3早上，天色又红又黑，你们说：今日必有风雨；你们知道辨别天象，却不能辨别时期的征兆。 | 3And in the morning: Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and lowering. You know then how to discern the face of the sky: and can you not know the signs of the times? |
| 4邪恶淫乱的世代要求征兆，但除了约纳先知的征兆外，必不给它其他的征兆。」耶稣遂离开他们走了。 | 4A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. And he left them, and went away. |
| 5门徒往对岸去的时候，忘了带饼： | 5And when his disciples were come over the water, they had forgotten to take bread. |
| 6耶稣就对他们说：「你们应当谨慎防备法利塞人和撒杜塞人的酵母。」 | 6Who said to them: Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. |
| 7他们便彼此议论说：「因为我们没有带饼罢！」 | 7But they thought within themselves, saying: Because we have taken no bread. |
| 8耶稣知道了就说：「小信德的人！你们为什么竟彼此议论你们没有带饼呢？ | 8And Jesus knowing it, said: Why do you think within yourselves, O ye of little faith, for that you have no bread? |
| 9你们还不明白吗？你们不记得五个饼分给五千人，你们收拾了几筐？ | 9Do you not yet understand, neither do you remember the five loaves among five thousand men, and how many baskets you took up? |
| 10七个饼分给四千人，你们又收拾了几篮？ | 10Nor the seven loaves among four thousand men, and how many baskets you took up? |
| 11怎么你们不明白，我不是指着饼向你们说的呢？你们应当防备法利塞人和撒杜塞人的酵母！」 | 11Why do you not understand that it was not concerning the bread I said to you: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees? |
| 12他们这才明白耶稣不是说防备饼的酵母，而是说防备法利塞人和撒杜塞人的教训。 | 12Then they understood that he said not that they should beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. |
| 13耶稣来到了斐理伯的凯撒勒雅境内，就问门徒说：「人们说人子是谁？」 | 13And Jesus came into the quarters of Caesarea Philippi: and he asked his disciples, saying: Whom do men say that the Son of man is? |
| 14他们说：「有人说是洗者若翰；有人说是厄里亚；也有人说是耶肋米亚，或先知中的一位。」 | 14But they said: Some John the Baptist, and other some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets. |
| 15耶稣对他们说：「你们说我是谁？」 | 15Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? |
| 16西满伯多禄回答说：「你是默西亚，永生天主之子。」 | 16Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. |
| 17耶稣回答他说：「约纳的儿子西满，你是有福的，因为不是肉和血启示了你，而是我在天之父。 | 17And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. |
| 18我再给你说：你是伯多禄（磐石），在这磐石上，我要建立我的教会，阴间的门决不能战胜她。 | 18And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. |
| 19我要将天国的钥匙交给你；凡你在地上所束缚的，在天上也要被束缚；凡你在地上所释放的，在天上也要被释放。」 | 19And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven. |
| 20他遂即严禁门徒，不要对任何人说他是默西亚。 | 20Then he commanded his disciples, that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ. |
| 21从那时起，耶稣就开绐向门徒说明：他必须上耶路撒冷去，要由长老、司祭长和经师们受到许多痛苦，并将被杀，但第三天要复活。 | 21From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the ancients and scribes and chief priests, and be put to death, and the third day rise again. |
| 22伯多禄便拉耶稣到一边，谏责他说：「主，千万不可！这事绝不会临到你身上！」 | 22And Peter taking him, began to rebuke him, saying: Lord, be it far from thee, this shall not be unto thee. |
| 23耶稣转身对伯多禄说：「撒殚，退到我后面去！你是我的绊脚石，因为你所体会的，不是天主的事，而是人的事。」 | 23Who turning, said to Peter: Go behind me, Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men. |
| 24于是，耶稣对门徒说：「谁若愿意跟随我，该弃绝自己，背着自己的十字架来跟随我， | 24Then Jesus said to his disciples: If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. |
| 25因为谁若愿意救自己的性命，必要丧失性命；但谁若为我的原故，丧失自己的性命，必要获得性命。 | 25For he that will save his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for my sake, shall find it. |
| 26人纵然赚得了全世界，却赔上了自己的灵魂，为他有什么益处？或者，人还能拿什么作为自己灵魂的代价？ | 26For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul? |
| 27因为将来人子要在他父的光荣中同他的天使降来，那时，他要按照每人的行为予以赏报。 | 27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works. |
| 28我实在告诉你们：站在这里的人中，就有些人在未尝到死味以前，必要看见人子来到自己的国内。」 | 28Amen I say to you, there are some of them that stand here, that shall not taste death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. |
