| 1那时，有法利塞人和经师，从耶路撒冷来到耶稣跟前说： | 1Then came to him from Jerusalem scribes and Pharisees, saying: |
| 2「你的门徒为什么违犯先人的传授？他们吃饭时竟不洗手。」 | 2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the ancients? For they wash not their hands when they eat bread. |
| 3耶稣回答他们说：「你们为什么为了你们的传授，而违犯天主的诫命呢？ | 3But he answering, said to them: Why do you also transgress the commandment of God for your tradition? For God said: |
| 4天主曾说过：『你要孝敬父亲和母亲。』又说过：『咒骂父亲和母亲的，应处以死刑。』 | 4Honour thy father and mother: And: He that shall curse father or mother, let him die the death. |
| 5你们却说：谁若对父亲或母亲说：我所能供养你的，已成了献仪； | 5But you say: Whosoever shall say to father or mother, The gift whatsoever proceedeth from me, shall profit thee. |
| 6他就不必再孝敬父亲或母亲了。你们就为了你们的传授，废弃了天主的话。 | 6And he shall not honour his father or his mother: and you have made void the commandment of God for your tradition. |
| 7假善人哪！依撒意亚论你们预言的真好，他说： | 7Hypocrites, well hath Isaias prophesied of you, saying: |
| 8『这民族用嘴唇尊敬我，他们的心却是远离我； | 8This people honoureth me with their lips: but their heart is far from me. |
| 9他们恭敬我也是假的，因为他们所讲授的教义是人的规律。』」 | 9And in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines and commandments of men. |
| 10耶稣便叫过群众来，对他们说：「你们听，且要明白： | 10And having called together the multitudes unto him, he said to them: Hear ye and understand. |
| 11不是入于口的，使人污秽；而是出于口的，才使人污秽。」 | 11Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man: but what cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man. |
| 12那时，门徒前来告诉耶稣说：「你知道法利塞人听了这话，起了反感吗？」 | 12Then came his disciples, and said to him: Dost thou know that the Pharisees, when they heard this word, were scandalized? |
| 13耶稣答说：「任何植物，凡不是我天父所种植的，必要连根拔除。 | 13But he answering them, said: Every plant which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. |
| 14由他们罢！他们是瞎子，且是瞎子的领路人；但若瞎子领瞎子，两人必要掉在坑里。」 | 14Let them alone: they are blind, and leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the pit. |
| 15伯多禄遂应声对耶稣说：「请你给我们讲解这个比喻罢！」 | 15And Peter answering, said to him: Expound to us this parable. |
| 16耶稣说：「连你们也不明白吗？ | 16But he said: Are you also yet without understanding? |
| 17你们不晓得：凡入于口的，先到肚腹内，然后排泄到厕所里去吗？ | 17Do you not understand, that whatsoever entereth into the mouth, goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the privy? |
| 18但那从口里出来的，都是由心里发出来的，这些才使人污秽， | 18But the things which proceed out of the mouth, come forth from the heart, and those things defile a man. |
| 19因为由心里发出来的是恶念、凶杀、奸淫、邪淫、盗窃、妄证、毁谤。 | 19For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies. |
| 20这些都使人污秽，至于不洗手吃饭，并不能使人污秽。」 | 20These are the things that defile a man. But to eat with unwashed hands doth not defile a man. |
| 21耶稣离开那里，就退往提洛和漆冬一带去了。 | 21And Jesus went from thence, and retired into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. |
| 22看，有一个客纳罕妇人，从那地方出来喊说：「主，达味之子，可怜我罢！我的女儿被魔纠缠的好苦啊！」 | 22And behold a woman of Canaan who came out of those coasts, crying out, said to him: Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David: my daughter is grieviously troubled by the devil. |
| 23耶稣却一句话也不回答她。他的门徒就上前求他说：「打发她走罢！因为她在我们后面不停地喊叫。」 | 23Who answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying: Send her away, for she crieth after us: |
| 24耶稣回答说：「我被派遣，只是为了以色列家失迷的羊。」 | 24And he answering, said: I was not sent but to the sheep that are lost of the house of Israel. |
| 25那妇人却前来叩拜他说：「主，援助我罢！」 | 25But she came and adored him, saying: Lord, help me. |
| 26耶稣回答说：「拿儿女的饼扔给小狗，是不对的。」 | 26Who answering, said: It is not good to take the bread of the children, and to cast it to the dogs. |
| 27但她说：「是啊！主，可是小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下来的碎屑。」 | 27But she said: Yea, Lord; for the whelps also eat of the crumbs that fall from the table of their masters. |
| 28耶稣回答她说：「啊！妇人，你的信德真大，就如你所愿望的，给你成就罢！」从那时刻起，她的女儿就痊愈了。 | 28Then Jesus answering, said to her: O woman, great is thy faith: be it done to thee as thou wilt: and her daughter was cured from that hour. |
| 29耶稣离开了那里，来到加里肋亚海岸，上了山坐在那里。 | 29And when Jesus had passed away from thence, he came nigh the sea of Galilee. And going up into a mountain, he sat there. |
| 30于是有许多群众带着瘸子、残废、瞎子、哑吧，和许多其他的病人来到耶稣跟前，把他们放在他的足前，他便治好了他们； | 30And there came to him great multitudes, having with them the dumb, the blind, the lame, the maimed, and many others: and they cast them down at his feet, and he healed them: |
| 31致使群众见到哑吧说话，残废康复，瘸子行走，瞎子看见，都大为惊奇，颂扬以色列的天主。 | 31So that the multitudes marvelled seeing the dumb speak, the lame walk, and the blind see: and they glorified the God of Israel. |
| 32耶稣将自己的门徒召来说：「我很怜悯这群众，因为他们同我在一起已经三天，也没有什么可吃的；我不愿遣散他们空着肚子回去，怕他们在路上晕倒。」 | 32And Jesus called together his disciples, and said: I have compassion on the multitudes, because they continue with me now three days, and have not what to eat, and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. |
| 33门徒对他说：「在荒野里我们从那里得这么多的饼，使这么多的群众吃饱呢？」 | 33And the disciples say unto him: Whence then should we have so many loaves in the desert, as to fill so great a multitude? |
| 34耶稣对他们说：「你们有多少饼？」他们说：「七个，还有几条小鱼。」 | 34And Jesus said to them: How many loaves have you? But they said: Seven, and a few little fishes. |
| 35耶稣就吩咐群众坐在地上， | 35And he commanded the multitude to sit down upon the ground. |
| 36拿起那七个饼和鱼来，祝谢了，擘开，递给门徒；门徒再分给群众。 | 36And taking the seven loaves and the fishes, and giving thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the people. |
| 37众人都吃了，也都饱了，把剩下的碎块收集了满满七篮子。 | 37And they did all eat, and had their fill. And they took up seven baskets full, of what remained of the fragments. |
| 38吃的人数，除妇女和孩子外，约有四千人。 | 38And they that did eat, were four thousand men, beside children and women. |
| 39耶稣遣散了群众，就上船，来到玛加丹境内。 | 39And having dismissed the multitude, he went up into a boat, and came into the coasts of Magedan. |
