2蝐喳吨璆Š鈭个šåŠ‹嗪º†隞亥列嚗Œ隞亥列摮鼗°鈭俈蝳¦蝐喳吨璆Š鈭绰¼?耨蝭劐º控瘣€瘣䞶’?控撖具€‚21O And I said: I am the Lord your God, fear not the gods of the Amorrhites, in whose land you dwell. And you would not hear my voice.
3瘥誯€¢隞亥列鈭箸’垍车銋见¾?¼Œ蝐喳吨璆Š鈭箝€é燵ç麐è‚见…‹鈭筝’?æ䲮摮鼗°穃停銝¾æ‰㮖»硋€¼›3And they were grievously oppressed by them. And they made themselves dens and eaves in the mountains, and strong holds to resist.
4撠滩‘»硋€背ç‡¼?¯€憯䞶çç凒å?餈西慐銝€掸冢¼?²埝œ厩策隞亥列ç•嗘¸衤¸€暺鲉£毺扣嚗?€?¾€‰䜘€岷銋²埝œ厩•嗘¸页¼›4And when Israel had sown, Madian and Amalec, and the rest of the eastern nations came up:
5å›删隞硋€蜇æ糓掸嗉‘堒振ç•’?董琏纸¸¾¼?¤¦酑嚗»硋€睲¾š荦å’?妤擏嘥¤¾㛖æ彍嚗?¸誩憓嚗?¯€憯䂿视å。5And pitching their tents among them, wasted all things as they were in the blade even to the entrance of Gaza: and they left nothing at all in Israel for sustenance of life, nor sheep, nor oxen, nor asses.
6隞亥列ç鈭†蝐喳吨璆Š鈭个šŽ•¼?¾?糓蝒桀嚗?›䭾迨隞亥列摮鼗°穃鐤蝐脖º¸蜓。6For they and all their flocks came with their tents, and like locusts filled all places, an innumerable multitude of men, and of camels, wasting whatsoever they touched.

And when Gedeon his son was threshing and cleansing wheat by the winepress, to flee from Madian,
12銝蜓çš蝙è€*ç蝯虫»吔¼?°滢»牧嚗€?㘚å‹šㄞ憯恬¼?¡䀝¸蜓èˆ½惩?銁嚗€12The angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said: The Lord is with thee, O most valiant of men.
13å抅驱瑞´…å›䂿­»牧嚗€?ˆ睲蜓嚗?«见Ž蠘«¼¦ž靝¸蜓èˆˆ穃€穃?銁嚗?ˆ穃€烐€举œé€嗘ºé嚗ˆ¥硋…?策æˆ穃€烐‰€雓偦š銝€åˆ¥º页¼?¦»銁é鋆∴¼煺»硋€烐㦛å烐ˆ穃€牧é¼œ页¼?糓銝蜓é 䀹ˆ穃€穃éåŸŠ嚗?½糓çå銁銝蜓æ‹£ºˆ穃€¼?°ˆ穃€睲漱å銁蝐喳吨璆Š鈭个šŽ?銝准€€13And Gedeon said to him: I beseech thee, my lord, if the Lord be with us, why have these evils fallen upon us? Where are his miracles, which our fathers have told us of, saying: The Lord brought us Out of Egypt? but now the Lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the bands of Madian.
14銝蜓瘜刻¦碶»牧嚗€?†睲½€嗵车åŠ偦‡¼?½惩绦æ墙救隞亥列èé蝐喳吨璆Š鈭个šŽ?ã€œ页¼?糓æˆ烐晷é雿€€14And the Lord looked upon him, and said: Go in this thy strength, and then shalt deliver Israel out of the hand of Madian: know that I have sent thee.
15隞硋›䂿­磰牧嚗€?ˆ睲蜓嚗?«见Ž蠘«¼ˆ烐†睲»€暻潭墙救隞亥列嚗毺œ页¼?ˆ穃振å銁暺条´滚”æ瘣历叶æ糓最å穃凝çš¼?ˆ穃銁æˆ?阆芸振銝剖?糓最撠雠š¸€å€卝€€15He answered and said: I beseech thee, my lord, wherewith shall I deliver Israel? Behold my family is the meanest in Manasses, and I am the least in my father's house.
16銝蜓撠滢»牧嚗€?œ㗇ˆˆ½惩?銁嚗?½惩¿“•—蝐喳吨璆Š鈭绰¼?¦“¸€å€衤荦銝€璅?€€16And the Lord said to him: I will be with thee: and thou shalt cut off Madian as one man.
17å抅驱瑞´…å?睲»牧嚗€?ˆå銁雿å‰滩’蹱嚗?«衤½删策æˆ睲¸€å€贝¨䁅™¼?­㗇˜馆ˆˆ牧閰梁š糓雿€‚17And he said: If I have found grace before thee, give me a sign that it is thou that speakest to me,
18隢衤½¸滩¦é–迨å嚗?­㗇ˆ穃›䞶?雿€体ㄐ嚗?葆靘旨ç?嚗?唍å銁雿惩‰溻€€滢»­娍‡㕑牧嚗€?ˆ­劐½惩›硺¾€€18And depart not hence, till I return to thee, and bring a sacrifice, and offer it to thee. And he answered: I will wait thy coming.
19å抅驱瑞´…撠勖绦é ‚嗘º¸€é塀撠誩撅梁¾¼??鍂銝€ã€Ž³€誯渐蝎劐½靝ºé擗¼?Š‚㗇å銁蝑鞱ㄐ嚗?Š僖ç›銁蝵鞱ㄐ嚗?葆å?蝭方€冽邦銝讠㭱蝯虫»硔€‚19So Gedeon went in, and boiled a kid, and made unleavened loaves of a measure of flour: and putting the flesh in a basket, and the broth of the flesh into a pot, he carried all under the oak, and presented to him.
20憭拐蜓çš蝙è€°滢»牧嚗€?嚉åè‚匧’?é擗¾¼?å銁é€嗵£鞟銝¼?Š僖å€鍦靘¼€滢»硋停ç璅?½靝º€‚20And the angel of the Lord said to him: Take the flesh and the unleavened loaves, and lay them upon that rock, and pour out the broth thereon. And when he had done so,
21銝蜓çš蝙è€挠åæ‰衤叶æ嚉çš£齿吔¼?㚚銝€阃佼‚匧’?é擗¼?£鞟靘辑丝ç嚗?Š‚匧’?é擗䞶艔鈭¼¸蜓çš蝙è€噶驱硺»å‰漤黸瘝雴º€‚21The angel of the Lord put forth the tip of the rod, which he held in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened loaves: and there arose a fire from the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened loaves: and the angel of the Lord vanished out of his sight.
22å抅驱瑞´…é䰻é㮖»糓銝蜓çš蝙è€牧嚗€?“‘€嚗ˆ睲蜓銝蜓嚗?ˆ«毺é撠漤åçœ贝¦衤¸蜓çš蝙è€¼€22And Gedeon seeing that it was the angel of the Lord, said: Alas, my Lord God: for I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.
23雿¸蜓撠滢»牧嚗€?½䭾敹¼¸滚¿拿æ€¼?½¸齿œ香嚗€23And the Lord said to him: Peace be with thee: fear not, thou shalt not die.
24å抅驱瑞´…撠勖銁é鋆∠策銝蜓软衤º¸€摨抒平憯¼?迂çé›¨²䠷š†嚗隞‚銁é燵敶浇Ž‰?鈭个š„æ•硋¼麾é鋆~€‚24And Gedeon built there an altar to the Lord, and called it the Lord's peace, until this present day. And when he was yet in Ephra, which is of the family of Ezri,
25ç訜憭靝¸蜓撠滢»牧嚗€?碶½删?阆芰š¸€é塀ç‰¼?朗éé塀銝革çšç‰¼?诳驱?‹¯€雿删?阆芰š„撌渲€³蟡剖£¼?‰梶¢举—‚羓š„é燵èˆ滩麾嚗›25That night the Lord said to him: Take a bullock of thy father's, and another bullock of seven years, and thou shalt destroy the altar of Baal, which is thy father's: and cut down the grove that is about the altar:
26蝯虫¸蜓雿删š予銝饺銁é€嗵£鞟é ¸遣銝€摨抒平憯¼?º硋‚坔戎ç訜嚗?°é塀èç‰㭱çåç‡平嚗?鍂æ‰梶¢š„é燵èˆ滩麾雿銁æ捿ã€€26And thou shalt build an altar to the Lord thy God in the top of this rock, whereupon thou didst lay the sacrifice before: and thou shalt take the second bullock, and shalt offer a holocaust upon a pile of the wood, which thou shalt cut down out of the grove.
27å抅驱瑞´…撠勖¾䞶ƒ蓥荦銝剥åå€衤荦嚗?銝蜓åå’»š½靝º¼½›删摰单€閧?阆芰š振鈭筝’?Ÿ馆ㄐçš荦嚗?¸齿佅å銁ç蒾憭抵¡?º页¼?停å銁暺穃¤靝½靝º€‚27Then Gedeon taking ten men of his servants, did as the Lord had commanded him. But fearing his father's house, and the men of that city, he would not do it by day, but did all by night.
28åŸ馆ㄐçš荦ææ膥韏瑚¾¼?œ贝¦‹撌渲€³çš平憯歇瘥€嚗?—‚‰€æœ厩š„é燵èˆ滩麾銋蠘◤æ‰梶¢¼?é塀èç‰¹毺㭱æ䲰æ鳘蝭厩š平憯¸¼Œ28And when the men of that town were risen in the morning, they saw the altar of Baal destroyed, and the grove cut down, and the second bullock laid upon the altar, which then was built.
29撠勖虾甇方岷å•呓牧嚗€?狐雿靝º€嗘º页¼麄€滨¶㯄馆€¯蠘萧å•譍¹见¾?¼?摰期牧嚗€?¿糓蝝燵憯«çš…鍦­å抅驱瑞´…雿靝º€嗘º卝€€29And they said one to another: Who hath done this? And when they inquired for the author of the fact, it was said: Gedeon the son of Joas did all this.
30å›䭾迨æåŸš荦撠蝝燵憯«隤迎¼€?°½删š…鍦­漱å靘¼?°»™闹香嚗›删隞‹¯€鈭†撌渲€³çš平憯¼?‰梶¢º—‚羓š„é燵èˆ滩麾ã€€30And they said to Joas: Bring out thy son hither, that he may die: because he hath destroyed the altar of Baal, and hath cut down his grove.
31蝝燵憯«å›䂿­娍‰€æœ匧滚°滢»š荦隤迎¼€?½惩€¦撌渲€³颲航风暻潘¼ˆ€½惩€¦•穃隞硋—¼蠘狐ç隞剂霅瘀¼?˜予ææ膥靘辑府è™蓥诳甇饺ˆ¼»硋¦ž糓蟡¼?®㮖»è撌梯剂霅瑞菱嚗›删æœ劐荦æ‹¯€鈭»š平憯€€31He answered them: Are you the avengers of Baal, that you fight for him? he that is his adversary, let him die before to morrow light appear: if he be a god, let him revenge himself on him that hath cast down his altar.
32å›䭾迨ç訜憭拐荦撠梁迂å抅驱瑞´…çã€?€园陌撌渲€喋€㵪¼?末åƒ呓牧嚗€?®“撌渲€³èˆ»?颲荔¼?›删å抅驱瑞´…æ‹¯€鈭»š平憯€€32From that day Gedeon was called Jerobaal, because Joss had said: Let Baal revenge himself on him that hath cast down his altar.
33éæ™¼Œ蝐喳吨璆Šã€é燵ç麐è‚见…‹å’?æ䲮摮鼗°煾è›丝靘¼?º众嚗?銁靘脲活å‹附€³挢喳Ž笔®劐º‡麄€‚33Now all Madian, and Amalec, and the eastern people were gathered together, and passing over the Jordan, camped in the valley of Jezrael.

36å抅驱瑞´…撠勖°滚予銝饷牧嚗€?¦ž靝½䭾Œ劐½䭾‰€隤芰š¼?œ蠘¦—㗇ˆš‰墙救隞亥列嚗Œ36And Gedeon said to God: If thou wilt save Israel by my hand, as thou hast said,
37çœˆ穃°?銝讠š¸€æŠ羓¾¯å銁蝳晓聦銝¼?é蠧瘗游鳝å鳝è氜å銁蝢¯¸¼?€?滚éæ糓銋晔š¼?暻潭ˆ睲噶æ›匧¾槟¼?¦½䭾‰€隤芰š¼?½删œ蠘¦—㗇ˆš‰墙救隞亥列ã€€37I will put this fleece of wool on the floor: if there be dew on the fleece only, and it be dry on all the ground beside, I, shall know that by my hand, as thou hast said, thou wilt deliver Israel.
38甈⊥皜韏瑚¾¼?ž愦迨嚗Œå抅驱瑞´…æŠ羓¾¯¸€æ护嚗?¾䂿¾¯ㄐæ护å銝€蝣烾蠧瘗氩€‚38And it was so. And rising before day wringing the fleece, he filled a vessel with the dew.
39å抅驱瑞´…å?穃予銝饷牧嚗€?¦žˆ穃†滩牧銝€甈∴¼?±½惩撠齿ˆ䔄æ€¼«贝®ˆ鍂é€嗵¾¯†滩岫銝€甈∴¼鳝å鳝蝢¯糓銋晔š¼?€?滚éæ糓é蠧瘗氩€€39And he said again to God: let not thy wrath be kindled against me if I try once more, seeking a sign in the fleece. I pray that the fleece only may be dry, and all the ground wet with dew.
