| 1耶稣讲完了这一切话，便对他的门徒说： | 1And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended all these words, he said to his disciples: |
| 2「你们知道：两天以后就是逾越节，人子要被解送，被钉在十字架上。」 | 2You know that after two days shall be the pasch, and the son of man shall be delivered up to be crucified: |
| 3那时，司祭长和民间长老，都聚集在名叫盖法的大司祭的庭院内， | 3Then were gathered together the chief priests and ancients of the people into the court of the high priest, who was called Caiphas: |
| 4共同议决要用诡计捉拿耶稣，加以杀害。 | 4And they consulted together, that by subtilty they might apprehend Jesus, and put him to death. |
| 5但是他们说：「不可在庆节期内，免得民间发生暴动。」 | 5But they said: Not on the festival day, lest perhaps there should be a tumult among the people. |
| 6耶稣正在伯达尼癞病人西满家里时， | 6And when Jesus was in Bethania, in the house of Simon the leper, |
| 7有一个女人拿着一玉瓶贵重的香液来到耶稣跟前，倒在正坐席的耶稣的头上。 | 7There came to him a woman having an alabaster box of precious ointment, and poured it on his head as he was at table. |
| 8门徒们见了就不满意说：「为什么这样浪费？ | 8And the disciples seeing it, had indignation, saying: To what purpose is this waste? |
| 9这香液原可卖得许多钱，施舍给穷人。」 | 9For this might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. |
| 10耶稣知道了，就对他们说：「你们为什么叫这个女人难受？她在我身上原是作了一件善事。 | 10And Jesus knowing it, said to them: Why do you trouble this woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. |
| 11你们常有穷人同你们在一起，至于我，你们却不常有。 | 11For the poor you have always with you: but me you have not always. |
| 12她把这香液倒在我身上，原是为安葬我而作的。 | 12For she in pouring this ointment upon my body, hath done it for my burial. |
| 13我实在告诉你们：将来在全世界，这福音无论传到那里，必要述说她所的事，来纪念她。」 | 13Amen I say to you, wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, that also which she hath done, shall be told for a memory of her. |
| 14随后，那十二人中之一，名叫犹达斯依斯加略的，去见司祭长， | 14Then went one of the twelve, who was called Judas Iscariot, to the chief priests, |
| 15说：「我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我什么？」他们约定给他三十块银钱。 | 15And said to them: What will you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? But they appointed him thirty pieces of silver. |
| 16从此他便寻找机会，要把耶稣交出。 | 16And from thenceforth he sought opportunity to betray him. |
| 17无酵节的第一天，门徒前来对耶稣说：「你愿意我们在那里，给你预备吃逾越节晚餐？」 | 17And on the first day of the Azymes, the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the pasch? |
| 18耶稣说：「你们进城去见某人，对他说：师傅说：我的时候近了，我要与我的门徒在你那里举行逾越节。」 | 18But Jesus said: Go ye into the city to a certain man, and say to him: the master saith, My time is near at hand, with thee I make the pasch with my disciples. |
| 19门徒就照耶稣吩咐他们的作了，预备了逾越节晚餐。 | 19And the disciples did as Jesus appointed to them, and they prepared the pasch. |
| 20到了晚上，耶稣与十二门徒坐席。 | 20But when it was evening, he sat down with his twelve disciples. |
| 21他们正吃晚餐的时候，耶稣说：「我实在告诉你们：你们中有一个人要出卖我。」 | 21And whilst they were eating, he said: Amen I say to you, that one of you is about to betray me. |
| 22他们非常忧闷，开始各自对他说：「主，难道是我吗？」 | 22And they being very much troubled, began every one to say: Is it I, Lord? |
| 23耶稣回答说：「那同我一起把手蘸在盘子里的人，要出卖我。 | 23But he answering, said: He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, he shall betray me. |
| 24人子固然要按照指着他所记载的而去，但出卖人子的那人却是有祸的！那人若没有生，为他更好。」 | 24The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man shall be betrayed: it were better for him, if that man had not been born. |
| 25那要出卖他的犹达斯也开口问耶稣说：「辣彼，难道是我吗？」耶稣对他说：「你说的是。」 | 25And Judas that betrayed him, answering, said: Is it I, Rabbi? He saith to him: Thou hast said it. |
| 26他们正吃晚餐的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝福了，擘开递给门徒说：「你们拿去吃罢！这是我的身体。」 | 26And whilst they were at supper, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke: and gave to his disciples, and said: Take ye, and eat. This is my body. |
| 27然后，又拿起杯来，祝谢了，递给他们说：「你们都由其中喝罢！ | 27And taking the chalice, he gave thanks, and gave to them, saying: Drink ye all of this. |
| 28因为这是我的血，新约的血，为大众倾流，以赦免罪过。 | 28For this is my blood of the new testament, which shall be shed for many unto remission of sins. |
| 29我告诉你们：从今以后，我不再喝这葡萄汁了，直到在我父的国里那一天，与你们同喝新酒。」 | 29And I say to you, I will not drink from henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I shall drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father. |
| 30他们唱了圣咏，就出来往橄榄山去。 | 30And a hymn being said, they went out unto mount Olivet. |
| 31那时，耶稣对他们说：「今夜你们都要为我的缘故跌倒，因为经上记载：『我要打击牧人，羊群就要四散。』 | 31Then Jesus said to them: All you shall be scandalized in me this night. For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be dispersed. |
| 32但是，我复活后，要在你们以先到加里肋亚去。」 | 32But after I shall be risen again, I will go before you into Galilee. |
| 33伯多禄却回答他说：「即便众人都为你的缘故跌倒，我决不会跌倒。」 | 33And Peter answering, said to him: Although all shall be scandalized in thee, I will never be scandalized. |
| 34耶稣对他说：「我实在告诉你：今夜鸡叫以前，你要三次不认我。」 | 34Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee, that in this night before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice. |
| 35伯多禄对他说：「即便我该同你一起死，我也决不会不认你。」众门徒也都这样说了。 | 35Peter saith to him: Yea, though I should die with thee, I will not deny thee. And in like manner said all the disciples. |
| 36随后，耶稣同他们来到一个名叫革责玛尼的庄园里，便对门徒说：「你们坐在这里，等我到那边去祈祷。」 | 36Then Jesus came with them into a country place which is called Gethsemani; and he said to his disciples: Sit you here, till I go yonder and pray. |
| 37遂带了伯多禄和载伯德的两个儿子同去，开始忧闷恐怖起来， | 37And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to grow sorrowful and to be sad. |
| 38对他们说：「我的心灵忧闷得要死，你们留在这里同我一起醒寤罢！」 | 38Then he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death: stay you here, and watch with me. |
| 39他稍微前行，就俯首至地祈祷说：「我父！若是可能，就让这杯离开我罢！但不要照我，而要照你所愿意的。」 | 39And going a little further, he fell upon his face, praying, and saying: My Father, if it be possible, let this chalice pass from me. Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. |
| 40他来到门徒那里，见他们睡着了，便对伯多禄说：「你们竟不能同我醒寤一个时辰吗？ | 40And he cometh to his disciples, and findeth them asleep, and he saith to Peter: What? Could you not watch one hour with me? |
| 41醒寤祈祷罢！免陷于诱惑；心神固然切愿，但肉体却软弱。」 | 41Watch ye, and pray that ye enter not into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh weak. |
| 42他第二次再去祈祷说：「我父！如果这杯不能离去，非要我喝不可，就成就你的意愿罢！」 | 42Again the second time, he went and prayed, saying: My Father, if this chalice may not pass away, but I must drink it, thy will be done. |
| 43他又回来，见他们仍然睡着，因为他们的眼睛很是沈重。 | 43And he cometh again and findeth them sleeping: for their eyes were heavy. |
| 44他再离开他们，第三次去祈祷，又说了同样的话。 | 44And leaving them, he went again: and he prayed the third time, saying the selfsame word. |
| 45然后回到门徒那里，对他们说：「你们睡下去罢！休息罢！看，时候到了，人子就要被交于罪人手里。 | 45Then he cometh to his disciples, and saith to them: Sleep ye now and take your rest; behold the hour is at hand, and the Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of sinners. |
| 46起来，我们去罢！看，那出卖我的已来近了。」 | 46Rise, let us go: behold he is at hand that will betray me. |
| 47他还在说话的时候，看！那十二人中之一的犹达斯来了；同他一起的，还有许多带着刀剑棍棒的群众，是由司祭长和民间的长老派来的。 | 47As he yet spoke, behold Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the ancients of the people. |
| 48那出卖耶稣的给了他们一个暗号说：「我口亲谁，谁就是，你们拿住他。」 | 48And he that betrayed him, gave them a sign, saying: Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he, hold him fast. |
| 49犹达斯一来到耶稣跟前，就说：「辣彼，你好！」就口亲了他。 | 49And forthwith coming to Jesus, he said: Hail, Rabbi. And he kissed him. |
| 50耶稣却对他说：「朋友，你来做的事就做罢！」于是他们上前，向耶稣下手，拿住了他。 | 50And Jesus said to him: Friend, whereto art thou come? Then they came up, and laid hands on Jesus, and held him. |
| 51有同耶稣在一起的一个人，伸手拔出自己的剑，砍了大司祭的仆人一剑，削去了他的一个耳朵。 | 51And behold one of them that were with Jesus, stretching forth his hand, drew out his sword: and striking the servant of the high priest, cut off his ear. |
| 52耶稣遂对他说：「把你的剑放回原处，因为凡持剑的，必死在剑下。 | 52Then Jesus saith to him: Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword. |
| 53你想我不能要求我父，即刻给我调动十二军以上的天使吗？ | 53Thinkest thou that I cannot ask my Father, and he will give me presently more than twelve legions of angels? |
| 54若这样，怎能应验经上所载应如此成就的事呢？」 | 54How then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that so it must be done? |
| 55在那时，耶稣对群众说：「你们带着刀剑棍棒出来拿我，如同对付强盗。我天天坐在圣殿内施教，你们没有拿我。」 | 55In that same hour Jesus said to the multitudes: You are come out as it were to a robber with swords and clubs to apprehend me. I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you laid not hands on me. |
| 56这一切都发生了，是为应验先知所记载的。于是门徒都撇下他逃跑了。 | 56Now all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then the disciples all leaving him, fled. |
| 57那些拿住耶稣的人，将耶稣带到大司祭盖法前；经师和长老已聚集在那里。 | 57But they holding Jesus led him to Caiphas the high priest, where the scribes and the ancients were assembled. |
| 58伯多禄远远跟着耶稣，直到大司祭的庭院，他也进到里面，坐在差役中观看结局。 | 58And Peter followed him afar off, even to the court of the high priest. And going in, he sat with the servants, that he might see the end. |
| 59司祭长和全公议会寻找相反耶稣的假证据，要把他处死。 | 59And the chief priests and the whole council sought false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death: |
| 60虽然有许多假见证出庭，但没有找出什么。最后有两个人上前来， | 60And they found not, whereas many false witnesses had come in. And last of all there came two false witnesses: |
| 61说：「这人曾经说过：我能拆毁天主的圣殿，在三天内我能把它重建起来。」 | 61And they said: This man said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and after three days to rebuild it. |
| 62大司祭就站起来，对他说：「这些人作证反对你的事，你什么也不回答吗？」 | 62And the high priest rising up, said to him: Answerest thou nothing to the things which these witness against thee? |
| 63耶稣却不出声。于是大司祭对他说：「我因生活的天主，起誓命你告诉我们：你是不是默西亚，天主之子？」 | 63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him: I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us if thou be the Christ the Son of God. |
| 64耶稣对他说：「你说的是。并且，我告诉你们：从此你们将要看见人子坐在大能者的右边，乘着天上的云彩降来。」 | 64Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God, and coming in the clouds of heaven. |
| 65大司祭遂撕裂自己的衣服说：「他说了亵渎的话。何必还需要见证呢？你们刚才听到了这亵渎的话， | 65Then the high priests rent his garments, saying: He hath blasphemed; what further need have we of witnesses? Behold, now you have heard the blasphemy: |
| 66你们以为该怎样？」他们回答说：「他该死。」 | 66What think you? But they answering, said: He is guilty of death. |
| 67众人遂即向他脸上吐唾沫，用拳头打他；另有一些人也用巴掌打他， | 67Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him: and others struck his face with the palms of their hands, |
| 68说：「默西亚，你猜猜是谁打你？」 | 68Saying: Prophesy unto us, O Christ, who is he that struck thee? |
| 69伯多禄在外面庭院里坐着，有一个使女来到他跟前说：「你也是同那加里肋亚人耶稣一起的。」 | 69But Peter sat without in the court: and there came to him a servant maid, saying: Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilean. |
| 70他当着众人否认说：「我不知道你说的是什么。」 | 70But he denied before them all, saying: I know not what thou sayest. |
| 71他出去到了门廊，另有一个使女看见他，就对那里的人说：「这人是同那纳匝肋人耶稣一起的。」 | 71And as he went out of the gate, another maid saw him, and she saith to them that were there: This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth. |
| 72他又发誓否认说：「我不认识这个人。」 | 72And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man. |
| 73过了一会，站在那里的人前来对伯多禄说：「的确，你也是他们中的一个，因为你的口音把你露出来了」 | 73And after a little while they came that stood by, and said to Peter: Surely thou also art one of them; for even thy speech doth discover thee. |
| 74伯多禄就开始诅咒发誓说：「我不认识这个人。」立时鸡就叫了。 | 74Then he began to curse and to swear that he knew not the man. And immediately the cock crew. |
| 75伯多禄便想起耶稣所说的话来：「鸡叫以前，你要三次不认我。」他一到了外面，就伤心痛哭起来。 | 75And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which he had said: Before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice. And going forth, he wept bitterly. |
