| 4上主高越列国万邦，他的光荣凌驾穹苍； | 4The Lord is exalted over the nations,
his glory above the heavens. |
| 5谁能相似上主我们的天主？他坐在苍天之上的最高处。 | 5Who is like the Lord our God,
who sits enthroned on high, |
| 6他必会垂目下视，观看上天和下地； | 6but also bends down to see
on earth as in heaven? |
| 7从尘埃里提拔弱小的人，由粪土中举扬穷苦的人， | 7He lifts up the poor from the dust
and the needy from the ash heap. |
| 8叫他与贵族的人共席，也与本国的王侯同位； | 8He makes them sit with princes,
with rulers of his people. |
| 9使那不孕的妇女坐镇家中，成为多子的母亲，快乐无穷。 | 9He gives a home to the barren woman,
and makes her a joyful mother.
