| 1你這在至高者護佑下居住的人，你這在全能者蔭庇下居住的人， | 1You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High,
who rest in the shadow of the Almighty, |
| 2請向上主說：「我的避難所，我的碉堡，我的天主，我向你投靠。」 | 2say to the Lord, "My stronghold,
my refuge, my God in whom I trust!" |
| 3他必救你脫離獵戶的縲絏，他必救你脫免害人的瘟疫。 | 3He will rescue you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence. |
| 4他以自己的羽毛掩護你，又叫你往他的翼下逃避：他的忠信是盾牌和鎧衣。 | 4He will cover you with his pinions
and give you refuge under his wings. |
| 5你不必怕黑夜驚人的顫慄，也不必怕白天亂飛的箭矢， | 5You shall not fear the terror of the night
nor the arrows that fly by day, |
| 6黑暗中流行的瘟疫，正午毒害人的癘疾。 | 6nor the pestilence that stalks by night,
and the plague that destroys at noonday. |
| 7在你身旁雖倒斃一千，在你右邊雖跌仆一萬，疫疾卻到不了你身邊。 | 7A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but nothing shall befall you,
his faithfulness is your shield. |
| 8然而你親眼要觀臨，要見到惡人的報應。 | 8Open your eyes:
you will see how the wicked are repaid. |
| 9你既知道上主是你的避難所，你就該以至高者為你的碉堡； | 9If you have made the Lord your refuge,
the Most High your stronghold, |
| 10災殃不會走近你的身邊，禍患也不臨近你的帳幔。 | 10no harm will come upon you,
no disaster will draw near your home. |
| 11因為他必為你委派自己的天使，在你行走的每條道路上保護你。 | 11For he will command his angels
to guard you in all your ways. |
| 12他們把你托在自己的手掌，不使你的腳在石頭上碰傷。 | 12They will lift you up with their hands
so that your foot will not hit a stone. |
| 13你可經過在獅子和毒蛇身上，你可踐踏在猛獅和毒龍身上。 | 13You will tread on wildcats and snakes
and trample the lion and the dragon. |
| 14上主說：「因為他依戀我，我必拯救他，他承認我的名，我必保護他。 | 14"Because they cling to me, I will rescue them,"
says the Lord.
"I will protect those who know my name. |
| 15他若呼求我，我必應允，他若有困苦，我必偕同他，我必拯救他，也必光榮他。 | 15When they call to me, I will answer;
in time of trouble I will be with them;
I will deliver and honor them. |
| 16我必要使他得享長壽，必讓他看到我的救贖。」 | 16I will satisfy them with long life
and show them my salvation." |
