how great is your name throughout the earth!
And your glory in the heavens above. |
| 2上主，我們的主！你的名號在普世何其美妙！你的尊榮在天上彰顯光耀。 | 2Even the mouths of children and infants
exalt your glory in front of your foes
and put to shame enemies and rebels. |
| 3由赤子乳兒的口中，你取得完美的讚頌；為使恨你的人受辱，為使仇敵有口無用。 | 3When I observe the heavens,
the work of your hands,
the moon and the stars you set in their place - |
| 4當我抑觀你手指創造的穹蒼，和你在天上佈置的星辰月亮， | 4what is the mortal that you be mindful of him,
the son of man, that you should care for him? |
| 5世人算什麼，你竟對他懷念不忘﹖人子算什麼，你竟對他眷顧周詳﹖ | 5Yet you made him a little lower than the angels;
you have crowned him with glory and honor. |
| 6竟使他稍微遜於天神，以尊貴光榮作他冠冕， | 6You made him rule over the works of your hands;
you have put all things under his feet - |
| 7令他統治你手的造化，將一切放在他的腳下： | 7sheep and oxen without number
and even the beasts of the field, |
| 8所有的羊和牛，與野外的走獸， | 8the birds of the air, the fish of the sea,
and all that swim the paths of the ocean. |
