When I was in distress, you gave me solace.
Have compassion on me and hear my plea. |
| 2我公義的天主！我一呼求你，你就應允了我，我在困苦中，你曾舒暢了我。求你憐憫我，求你俯聽我禱。 | 2And you people, how long
will you harden your hearts?
How long will you delight in deceit
and go in search of falsehood? |
| 3顯貴的人們，你們的心要硬到幾時﹖你們愛慕虛幻，追求虛偽究竟何為？（休止） | 3But you must know that the Lord
has shown his kindness to me.
When I call to him, he hears me. |
| 4你們當知：上主特愛對他虔敬的人，當我呼求上主的時候，他一定俯允。 | 4Be angry, but don't offend.
Keep your words to yourself,
when you are in bed, and be still. |
| 5你們應戰慄，不可一再作惡，在床上檢討，且要捫心思過。（休止） | 5Offer the sacrifice commanded by the Law
and put your trust in the Lord your God. |
| 6奉上正義的祭獻，對上主全心依盼。 | 6Many ask, "Who will give us a happy time?
Would that his favor shine upon us!" |
| 7有許多人說：「誰能使我們幸福亨通？」上主，望你向我們顯你光輝的儀容。 | 7You, O Lord, have put joy in my heart;
more than by giving me wine and food. |
| 8你賜給我心中的歡躍，遠勝過麥和酒的豐饒。 | 8I lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O Lord,
make me feel safe and secure. |
