Let your ears pay attention
to the voice of my supplication. |
| 3上主，你若細察我的罪辜，我主，有誰還能站立得住？ | 3If you should mark our evil,
O Lord, who could stand? |
| 4可是，你以寬恕為懷，令人對你起敬起愛。 | 4But with you is forgiveness,
and for that you are revered. |
| 5我仰賴上主，我靈期待他的聖言； | 5I waited for the Lord, my soul waits,
and I put my hope in his word. |
| 6我靈等候我主，切於更夫的待旦。 | 6My soul expects the Lord
more than watchmen the dawn. |
| 7請以色列仰賴上主，應切於更夫待旦，因為上主富於仁慈，他必定慷慨救援。 | 7O Israel, hope in the Lord,
for with him is unfailing love
and with him full deliverance. |
| 8他必要拯救以色列人，脫離一切所有的罪根。 | 8He will deliver Israel
from all its sins. |
