1 For the leader; according to "The deer of the dawn." A psalm of David. |
| 2我的天主，我的天主，你為什麼捨棄了我？你又為什麼遠離我的懇求，和我的哀號。 |
2My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why so far from my call for help, from my cries of anguish? |
| 3我的天主，我白天呼號，你不應允；我黑夜哀禱，你仍默靜。 |
3My God, I call by day, but you do not answer; by night, but I have no relief. |
| 4但是你居於聖所，作以色列的榮耀！ |
4Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the glory of Israel. |
| 5我們的先祖曾經依賴了你，你救起他們，因他們依賴你； |
5In you our ancestors trusted; they trusted and you rescued them. |
| 6他們呼號了你，便得到救贖，他們信賴了你，而從未蒙羞。 |
6To you they cried out and they escaped; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. |
| 7至於我，成了微蟲，失掉了人形；是人類的恥辱，受百姓的欺凌。 |
7 But I am a worm, hardly human, scorned by everyone, despised by the people. |
| 8凡看見我的人都戲笑我，他們都撇着嘴搖着頭說： |
8All who see me mock me; they curl their lips and jeer; they shake their heads at me: |
| 9「他既信賴上主，上主就應救他；上主既喜愛他，也就該拯救他。」 |
9"You relied on the LORD--let him deliver you; if he loves you, let him rescue you." |
| 10是你使我由母腹中出生，使我在母懷裡享受安寧。 |
10Yet you drew me forth from the womb, made me safe at my mother's breast. |
| 11我一離開母胎，就已交托於你，尚在母懷時，你巳是我的天主。 |
11Upon you I was thrust from the womb; since birth you are my God. |
| 12因為大難臨頭，求你不要遠離我，求你來近，因為無人肯來扶助我。 |
12Do not stay far from me, for trouble is near, and there is no one to help. |
| 13成群的公牛圍繞着我，巴商的雄牛包圍着我； |
13 Many bulls surround me; fierce bulls of Bashan encircle me. |
| 14都向我張開自己的嘴，活像怒吼掠食的獅子。 |
14They open their mouths against me, lions that rend and roar. |
| 15我好像傾瀉的水一般，我全身骨骸都已脫散；我的心好像是蠟，在我內臟中溶化。 |
15Like water my life drains away; all my bones grow soft. My heart has become like wax, it melts away within me. |
| 16我的上顎枯乾得像瓦片，我的舌頭貼在咽喉上面；你竟使我於死灰中輾轉。 |
16 As dry as a potsherd is my throat; my tongue sticks to my palate; you lay me in the dust of death. |
| 17惡犬成群地圍困着我，歹徒成夥地環繞着我；他們穿透了我的手腳， |
17Many dogs surround me; a pack of evildoers closes in on me. So wasted are my hands and feet |
| 18我竟能數清我的骨骼；他們卻冷眼觀望着我， |
18that I can count all my bones. They stare at me and gloat; |
| 19他們瓜分了我的衣服，為我的長衣，他們拈鬮。 |
19they divide my garments among them; for my clothing they cast lots. |
| 20上主！請不要遠離我，我的勇力，速來助我。 |
20But you, LORD, do not stay far off; my strength, come quickly to help me. |
| 21求你由刀劍下搶救我的靈魂，由惡犬的爪牙拯救我的生命； |
21Deliver me from the sword, my forlorn life from the teeth of the dog. |
| 22求你從獅子的血口救我脫身，由野牛角下救出我這苦命人。 |
22Save me from the lion's mouth, my poor life from the horns of wild bulls. |
| 23我要向我的弟兄，宣揚你的聖名，在盛大的集會中，向你讚美歌頌： |
23 Then I will proclaim your name to the assembly; in the community I will praise you: |
| 24「你們敬畏上主的人，請讚美上主，雅各伯所有的後裔，請光榮上主，以色列的一切子孫，請敬畏上主！ |
24"You who fear the LORD, give praise! All descendants of Jacob, give honor; show reverence, all descendants of Israel! |
| 25因他沒有輕看或蔑視卑賤人的苦痛，也沒有向他掩起自己的面孔，他一呼號上主，上主即予俯聽。」 |
25 For God has not spurned or disdained the misery of this poor wretch, Did not turn away from me, but heard me when I cried out. |
| 26我在盛大的集會中要向他頌讚，我在敬畏他的人前還我的誓願。 |
26I will offer praise in the great assembly; my vows I will fulfill before those who fear him. |
| 27貧困的人必將食而飽飫，尋求上主的人必讚頌主；願他們的心靈生存永久！ |
27 The poor will eat their fill; those who seek the LORD will offer praise. May your hearts enjoy life forever!" |
| 28整個大地將醒覺而歸順上主，天下萬民將在他前屈膝叩首； |
28All the ends of the earth will worship and turn to the LORD; All the families of nations will bow low before you. |
| 29因為惟有上主得享王權，惟有他將萬民宰治掌管。 |
29For kingship belongs to the LORD, the ruler over the nations. |
| 30凡安眠於黃泉的人都應朝拜他，凡返回於灰土的人都要叩拜他。我的靈魂存在生活只是為了他， |
30 All who sleep in the earth will bow low before God; All who have gone down into the dust will kneel in homage. |
| 31我的後裔將要事奉上主，向未來的世代傳述我主， |
31And I will live for the LORD; my descendants will serve you. |
| 32向下代人，傳揚他的正義說：「這全是上主的所作所為！」 |
32The generation to come will be told of the Lord, that they may proclaim to a people yet unborn the deliverance you have brought. |
