| 1達味作，交與樂官。愚妄的人心中說：「沒有天主」；他們都喪盡天良，恣意作惡；行善的人實在找不到一個！ |
1 For the leader. Of David. Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." Their deeds are loathsome and corrupt; not one does what is right. |
| 2上主由高天俯視世人之子，察看有無尋覓天主的智者。 |
2The LORD looks down from heaven upon the human race, To see if even one is wise, if even one seeks God. |
| 3人人都離棄了正道，趨向邪惡：沒有一人行善，實在沒有一個。 |
3All have gone astray; all alike are perverse. Not one does what is right, not even one. |
| 4那些作奸犯科的人，吞我民如食饅頭；總不呼號上主的人，豈不是愚蠢糊塗？ |
4Will these evildoers never learn? They devour my people as they devour bread; they do not call upon the LORD. |
| 5他們必然要驚慌失措，因上主喜愛義人家族。 |
5They have good reason, then, to fear; God is with the company of the just. |
| 6你們儘可鄙視貧苦者的主張，但上主卻要自作他們的保障。 |
6They would crush the hopes of the poor, but the poor have the LORD as their refuge. |
| 7惟願以色列人的救援來自聖熙雍！一旦上主將自己民族的命運變更，雅各伯必將喜慶，以色列必將歡騰。 |
7 Oh, that from Zion might come the deliverance of Israel, That Jacob may rejoice, and Israel be glad when the LORD restores his people! |
