And withal consider that I am your bone, and your flesh.

11çè?æž邦å›䂿­磰牧嚗é刊¦ˆ烐崖æŽ㗇ˆš”条”’?¾举ž頣¼?€?绦æ硋銁ç䔿璅嫣¹衤¸—¼Ÿ11And it answered them: Can I leave my sweetness, and my delicious fruits, and go to be promoted among the other trees?
12ç䔿璅孵?°滩鸡è邦隤迎¼期«衤½¾½ˆ穃€šŽ页¼12And the trees said to the vine: Come thou and reign over us.
13è鸡è邦撠勖›䂿­磰牧嚗ˆš鳘é…埝‚¨¥硺荦嚗?é刊¦ˆ烐琏ç嚗?€?绦æ硋銁ç䔿璅嫣¹衤¸—¼Ÿ13And it answered them: Can I forsake my wine, that cheereth God and men, and be promoted among the other trees?
14æ䲰æ糓ç䔿璅孵°滩£䁅牧嚗期«衤½¾½ˆ穃€šŽ页¼14And all the trees said to the bramble: Come thou and reign over us.
15è£睃°齿邦æ銁蝑娪橒¼期雿惩€œ罚¡条«ˆ睲½靝½惩€šŽ页¼?¾菱嚗熔å銁æˆš銝页¼炏å‰¼?敹¾噼£睃†鍦嚗?墧»…暺毁憳©çš¦蹱Ÿ銁。15And it answered them: If indeed you mean to make me king, come ye and rest under my shadow: but if you mean it not, let fire come out from the bramble, and devour the cedars of Libanus.

21隞亘¾Œ蝝 ‚å韏堆¼?€?鞎萘?å绦鈭¼?½誩銁é鋆∴¼?隞šåé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻。21And when he had said thus he fled, and went into Bera: and dwelt there for fear of Abimelech his brother.
22é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻瘝饵†隞亥列銝匧侨。22So Abimelech reigned over Israel for three years.
23憭拐蜓雿踵蟡鲉™滚銁é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻和èˆ齿觅å瘗睲叶é–橒¼Œèˆ齿觅çš瘗睲噶èƒ?º†é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗Œ23And the Lord sent a very evil spirit between Abimelech and the inhabitants of Sichem: who began to detest him,
24阆驱拙°è€园陌撌渲€³銝€见…鍦­鞟š蔽銵?¼?°»硋€š¡€甇豢䲰隞硋€š…¼Ÿé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗?›删æ糓隞捏摰喃º»硋€¼¹飞æ䲰èˆ齿觅çš瘗¼?›删隞硋€烐㦛曌枏䠀隞捏摰唾撌梁š…¼麄€‚24And to leave the crime of the murder of the seventy sons of Jerobaal, and the shedding of their blood upon Abimelech their brother, and upon the rest of the princes of the Sichemites, who aided him.
25èˆ齿觅å瘗å齿Š»吔¼?停å銁撅梢 ¸身銝衤¼誩嚗?阔æŽ䭾‰€æœ㕑楝é»硋€煾鋆∠š荦嚗œ劐荦撠€嗘º见å‘羓策é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻。25And they set an ambush against him on the top of the mountains: and while they waited for his coming, they committed robberies, taking spoils of all that passed by: and it was told Abimelech.
26é時åŽ²嘥¾—çš…鍦­åŠ燵耳å’?»硋?—雠š荦é驱坔?èˆ齿觅嚗Œèˆ齿觅çš±°«煺缣隞台º»吔¼›26And Gaal the son of Obed came with his brethren, and went over to Sichem. And the inhabitants of Sichem taking courage at his coming,
27隞硋€睲噶å?ç视é–è鸡è¼?成é…¼?–蟡脲œ¼??隞硋€š¥䞶»蠘ㄐå??–嘅¼?¹笔’垍葱鈭†é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻。27Went out into the fields, wasting the vineyards, and treading down the grapes: and singing and dancing they went into the temple of their god, and in their banquets and cups they cursed Abimelech.
28åŽ²嘥¾—çš…鍦­åŠ燵耳隤迎¼€Œé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻æ糓隤堆¼?ˆ穃€‘èˆ齿觅鈭箸糓隤堆¼?ˆ穃€«蠘府æœ滢º衤»吔¼蠘±?¸齿糓è€园陌撌渲€³çš…鍦­’?®睃摱å‰郊耳嚗?府æœ滢º‹èˆ齿觅çš§讠¥–å“?ç?çš¾?荦å—¼ˆ穃€隞€暻潸¦œ滢º‹é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗Ÿ28And Gaal the son of Obed cried: Who is Abimelech, and what is Sichem, that we should serve him? Is he not the son of Jerobaal, and hath made Zebul his servant ruler over the men of Emor the father of Sichem? Why then shall we serve him?
29æ銝滚¾烾€嗵参憪㮖漱æ䲰æˆ烐‰衤叶嚗?末把é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻é膄æŽ剹€ˆ¦°é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻隤迎¼¢墧晷雿删š»漤š驱菱嚗€29Would to God that some man would put this people under my hand, that I might remove Abimelech out of the way. And it was said to Abimelech: Gather together the multitude of an army, and come.
30å‰郊耳åŸ°㕑å?åŽ²嘥¾—çš…鍦­åŠ燵耳çš店嚗?之ç䔄敹踵€¼Œ30For Zebul the ruler of the city, hearing the words of Gaal, the son of Obed, was very angry,
31é‰梶䔄雿辑€绦阆见銁é燵擳舐麐的é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻隤迎¼€?œ页¼ŒåŽ²嘥¾—çš…鍦­åŠ燵耳å’?»š?—譍荦嚗?¾?èˆ齿觅嚗?Œ穃”åŸ滚½€‚31And sent messengers privately to Abimelech, saying: Behold Gaal the son of Obed is come into Sichem with his brethren, and endeavoureth to set the city against thee.
32所隞亦å銁雿惩’?·罚辶雿删š荦憭ㄐ阆丝靘¼?Ÿ衤¼誩銁ç视é‡–橒¼Œ32Arise therefore in the night with the people that is with thee and he hid in the field:
33æ˜予ææ膥憭芷蒾銝€å靘¼?停æåŸ汿€訜隞硋’?辶驱硺»š荦å靘æŠ½䭾™¼?½删œ讠œ€举见憟踝¼?停æ€举见撠滢»䀝»硔€€33And betimes in the morning at sun rising set upon the city. And when he shall come out against thee with his people, do to him what thou shalt be able.
34é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻é?‰€æœ㕑·罚辶隞š荦憭–刊丝頨恬¼?ˆ½›偦š¼?°滩‘—èˆ齿觅閮凋¸见Ÿ衤¼讹€‚34Abimelech therefore arose with all his army by night, and laid ambushes near Sichem in four places.
35ç訜åŽ²嘥¾—çš…鍦­åŠ燵耳å靘¼?«坔銁åŸ–€å藁æ™¼Œé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻靘辑ˆ辶驱硺»š荦驱䞶Ÿ衤¼雠šæ䲮å靘¼Œ35And Gaal the son of Obed went out, and stood in the entrance of the gate of the city. And Abimelech rose up, and all his army with him from the places of the ambushes.
36åŠ燵耳銝€阆钅€嗘º荦撠勖°å‰郊耳隤迎¼€?œ页¼?œ劐荦驱䞶控é ¸衤¾¼€å‰郊耳å›䂿­»牧嚗€?½删œ贝¦见控敶梧¼?炊隞亦æ糓鈭绰¼€36And when Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul: Behold a multitude cometh down from the mountains. And he answered him: Thou seest the shadows of the mountains as if they were the heads of men, and this is thy mistake.
37åŠ燵耳æè‘堒?牧嚗€?œ页¼?œ劐荦驱鲉«睃å靘¼??œ劐¸€éš窒撌怠ㄚ璈⊥邦é㮖¸‰滢¾€€37Again Gaal said: Behold there cometh people down from the middle of the land, and one troop cometh by the way that looketh towards the oak.
38å‰郊耳撠滢»牧嚗å銁雿删š藁å銁é鋆∴¼煺¸齿糓雿䭾㦛隤芷¼šé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻æ糓隤堆¼?¦ˆ穃€烐œ滢º衤»吔¼罚€嗘¸齿糓雿䭾‰€頛閗¦š荦å—¼毺å銁隢衤½惩å绦ææ‰㮖»菱嚗€38And Zebul said to him: Where is now thy mouth wherewith thou saidst? Who is Abimelech that we should serve him? Is not this the people which thou didst despise? Go out, and fight against him.
39åŠ燵耳撠勖銁èˆ齿觅å瘗睲¹见‰滚å绦嚗?打é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗›39So Gaal went out in the sight of the people of Sichem, and fought against Abimelech,
40å虾æ糓é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻銝€餈卖“»吔¼?»硋停å銁隞㚚å‰漤€·睲º¼凒å?åŸ–€æœ㕑迂憭鈭∠š荦。40Who chased and put him to flight, and drove him to the city: and many were slain of his people, even to the gate of the city:
41隞亘¾Œé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻å›䞶?é燵擳舐麐嚗›å‰郊耳撠‡åŠ燵耳å’?»š?—譍荦頞閗粥嚗?¦迫隞硋€睲½誩銁èˆ齿觅。41And Abimelech sat down in Ruma: but Zebul drove Gaal, and his companions out of the city, and would not suffer them to abide in it.
42蝚砌º?予ææ膥嚗?荦瘗穃?ç视é‡馆ㄐå绦嚗?œ劐荦å‘迄鈭†é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗Œ42So the day following the people went out into the field. And it was told Abimelech.
43隞䲰æ糓æŠ撌梁š荦åˆ½靝¸厂š¼?㙈隞硋€穃Ÿ衤¼誩銁ç视é–橒¼»撌梁的æœ¼?訜隞œ贝¦讠参憪枏¾䞶Ÿ馆ㄐå靘¼?停銵嗪绦嚗?“捏鈭»硋€¼›43And he took his army, and divided it into three companies, and laid ambushes in the fields. And seeing that the people came out of the city, he arose and set upon them,
44ç訜時é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻èˆ·罚辶隞š»漤š¡嗪绦嚗?Š½誩Ÿ–€å藁嚗?€?åéš¡嘥视é–梶š䔿鈭绰¼?捏鈭»硋€㻫€‚44With his own company, assaulting and besieging the city: whilst the two other companies chased the enemies that were scattered about the field.
45é銝€憭抬¼Œé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻æ㟲憭拇æ‰㯄åŸ¼?ŠŸ举銝页¼?捏鈭Ÿ叶çš±°¼?ŠŸ举‹¯€嚗?’雴¸厌。45And Abimelech assaulted the city all that day: and took it, and killed the inhabitants thereof, and demolished it, so that he sowed salt in it.
46èˆ齿觅蝣匧岁鋆∠š荦è阆迨鈭页¼?停頨唇?撌渲€唾²嗪»鹱撱蠘ㄐçš蝛渲ㄐ。46And when they who dwelt in the tower of Sichem had heard this, they went into the temple of their god Berith where they had made a covenant with him, and from thence the place had taken its name, and it was exceeding strong.
47æœ劐荦å‘迄é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻嚗?荦瘗煾è›銁èˆ齿觅蝣匧岁å。é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻å’?·罚辶隞š荦撠曹¸º†åŒ肽€喳­Ÿ撅梧¼›47Abimelech also hearing that the men of the tower of Sichem were gathered together,
48é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻æ‰贝ㄐæ嚉è‘¸€æŠ鑘é嚗? 滢º¸€æ觅璅寞ž嘅¼?嚉韏瑚¾å銁è銝¼?驱?·罚辶隞š荦隤迎¼€?½惩€œˆ睲½靝»€暻潘¼?½惩€睲¹蠘¶訫翰ç璅?绦雿頣¼€48Went up into mount Selmon he and all his people with him: and taking an axe, he cut down the bough of a tree, and laying it on his shoulder and carrying it, he said to his companions: What you see me do, do you out of hand.
49æ䲰æ糓ç䔿鈭粹å 滢º觅璅寞ž嘅¼?辶著é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻æŠ邦æž嘥 銁å蝛港¸¼?銁å蝛港¸»硺º嚗?䲰æ糓èˆ齿觅蝣匧岁鋆⊥‰€æœ厩š荦é甇台º¼?琸憟喟´œ劐¸€å€‚49So they cut down boughs from the trees, every man as fast as he could, and followed their leader. And surrounding the fort they set it on fire: and so it came to pass that with the smoke and with the fire a thousand persons were killed, men and women together, of the inhabitants of the tower of Sichem.
50甇文¾Œé燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻驱€ç鹱鞎肽篬å绦嚗?®厩‡打ç鹱鞎肽篬嚗?¹煺½娍“纸ºåŸ汿€‚50Then Abimelech departing from thence came to the town of Thebes, which he surrounded and besieged with his army.
51å銁éåŸ叶æœ劐¸€摨批 çš¢匧岁嚗?府åŸ举‰€æœ厩š瘗¼?琸ç琸憟喳戊é頝穃?é鋆∟熔é嚗?—靝¸–€嚗?¸?蝣匧岁é ¸€‚51And there was in the midst of the city a high tower, to which both the men and the women were fled together, and all the princes of the city, and having shut and strongly barred the gate, they stood upon the battlements of the tower to defend themselves.
52é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻靘?蝣匧岁å‰齿æ‰橒¼訜隞粥餈¢匧岁門å藁嚗?¦çç„‡埝™¼Œ52And Abimelech coming near the tower, fought stoutly: and approaching to the gate, endeavoured to set fire to it:
53æœ劐¸€å€见岫鈭箸‹衤¸衤º¸€憛羓ㄗç嚗?迤è氜å銁é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻é銝¼?‰梶¢º»šè“钅爸。53And behold a certain woman casting a piece of a millstone from above, dashed it against the head of Abimelech, and broke his skull.
54隞€亘¿坔–㙈æ隞硋嘑æˆ毺š°穃侨嚗?睲»牧嚗€?‹雿删šˆ€畾箔ºˆ菱嚗…滚¾荦雓«ˆ牧嚗纸¸€å€见戊摮鼗捏鈭»吔¼€漤撠穃侨撠梁鍂刀å?甇台º»硔€‚54And he called hastily to his armourbearer, and said to him: Draw thy sword, and kill me: lest it should be said that I was slain by a woman. He did as he was commanded, and slew him.
55隞亥列鈭箔¸€阆‹é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻甇台º¼?›硺º摰呜€‚55And when he was dead, all the men of Israel that were with him, returned to their homes.
56æ䲰æ糓憭拐蜓å驱拐º†é燵敶潮»䁅‚见耻撠滢»?阆芣‰€銵?š鈭页¼?›删隞捏鈭撌梁š¸€见…¼¼›56And God repaid the evil, that Abimelech had done against his father, killing his seventy brethren.
57銝虫¸予銝台¹ŠŠèˆ齿觅鈭个š¸€åˆ銵?飞å銁隞硋€撌梁š銝¼€蹱见è€园陌撌渲€³çš…鍦­蝝 ‚çš©’¼?¹‡厂©堒銁隞硋€澈銝€‚57The Sichemites also were rewarded for what they had done, and the curse of Joatham the son of Jerobaal came upon them.
