| 8å䭾迨銝蜓撠隞亥å憭抒䔄敹踵¼?°»硋睲漱å銁åçé»举²坔¡娍捕æ衤叶嚗隞亥å摮鼗°煾滢º衤ºé»举²坔¡娍捕å挢氩 | 8And the Lord being angry with Israel, delivered them into the hands of Chusan Rasathaim king of Mesopotamia, and they served him eight years. |

| 10銝蜓ç¥鲉滚銁隞澈銝¼?»碶½靝º隞亥åç°煾嚗?å绦雿?嚗¸蜓æåçé»举²坔¡娍捕鈭文銁隞衤叶嚗?»å嗪ºé»举²坔¡娍捕ã | 10And the spirit of the Lord was in him, and he judged Israel. And he went out to fight, and the Lord delivered into his hands Chusan Rasathaim king of Syria, and he overthrew him. |
| 11æ䲰æ糓å¢像摰劐º侨ã | 11And the land rested forty years, and Othoniel the son of Cenez died. |

| 13隞å?ºé燵摮摮鼗°穃é燵ç麐è见 鈭绰¼?滢¾隞亥å嚗?½娍纸º£闹邦å¼ | 13And he joined to him the children of Ammon, and Amalec: and he went and overthrew Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees. |

| 15ç訜隞亥å摮鼗°穃睲¸蜓å鐤蝐脱¼?¸蜓蝯虫»硋?丝鈭¸雿齿墙æ¼?停æ糓æé鈭ºé仪颲£ç 鍦å驱嚗?»糓撌血æ贝åç鍂ç荦嚗隞亥å摮鼗°睲噶瘣历»策æé燵掸çå仪éç㭱鞎Ｙ?ã | 15And afterwards they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour called Aod, the son of Gera, the son of Jemini, who used the left hand as well as the right. And the children of Israel sent presents to Eglon king of Moab by him. |
| 16å驱é 嗘º¸æ¸è㗛ç坔嚗?鍦銁åè銵?滚º蓥¸页¼ | 16And he made himself a two-edged sword, with a haft in the midst of the length of the palm of the hand, and was girded therewith under his garment on the right thigh. |
| 17靘?æé燵掸çå仪éå滨㭱鞎Ｙ?ââå仪éå糓å扔èè荦ã | 17And he presented the gifts to Eglon king of Moab. Now Eglon was exceeding fat. |
| 18ç㭱摰?甜ç?隞亘¾?¼?停æ䠋鞎Ｙ?ç荦æ梶䔄韏堆¼ | 18And when he had presented the gifts unto him, he followed his companions that came along with him. |
| 19è撌勖㭱ç眏å抅è喳㰘³æå誯鋆⊿å¼?牧嚗?见嚗烐㗇©笔¯º贝¦°滢½㰘牧ã滨贝牧嚗?銝页¼齿䲰æ糓靘滨«见椰åç荦ééå绦ã | 19Then returning from Galgal, where the idols were, be said to the king: I have a secret message to thee, O king. And he commanded silence: and all being gone out that were about him, |
| 20å驱靘?隞·笔㵪¼?»迤ç崖èå銁瘨浇蝱銝羓?摮鞱ㄐ嚗å驱隤迎¼?烐厩¥噼垠å迄雿¼滨见停驱噼撌梁涟雿滢¸丝软页¼ | 20Aod went in to him: now he was sitting in a summer parlour alone, and he said: I have a word from God to thee. And he forthwith rose up from his throne, |
| 21å驱é挠撌行见¾䞶è銝å靘¼??å隞é嚗 | 21And Aod put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly, |

So that he did not draw out the dagger, but left it in his body as he had struck it in. And forthwith by the secret parts of nature the excrements of the belly came out. |

| 24隞硋å绦銋见¾?¼?贝å滢¾¼?贝¦饮å蝱ç?éé槟¼?停隤迎¼?»碶¸摰銁瘨浇蝱銝羓摰方ㄐ靘踵荦ã | 24Went out by a postern door. And the king's servants going in, saw the doors of the parlour shut, and they said: Perhaps he is easing nature in his summer parlour. |
| 25驱»硋厩鈭¼?贝¦²埝劐荦靘饮å蝱銝羓嚗?»硋穃停æ嚉é曲å蹱é衤º¼?¦衤»硋蜓摮鞱荦å銁å銝香鈭 | 25And waiting a long time till they were ashamed, and seeing that no man opened the door, they took a key: and opening, they found their lord lying dead on the ground. |
| 26å銁隞硋薗鞊怎辷¼å驱撌修¶㯄粥嚗?¹鲉举å¼??¾è靘肽麾ã | 26But Aod, while they were in confusion, escaped, and passed by the place of the idols, from whence he had returned. And he came to Seirath: |
| 27隞硋?鈭鋆∴¼?停å銁å¼麾å 撅勖åè蠘§¼隞亥å摮鼗°穃停å?»眏撅勖銝衤¾¼?»硋銁隞硋穃漤嚗 | 27And forthwith he sounded the trumpet in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him, he himself going in the front. |
| 28撠滢»硋牧嚗?½惩··蠘埈¼?删銝蜓æ½惩»訽æé燵掸鈭筝歇鈭斗䲰雿惩烐衤叶嚗滢»硋煾·煺»碶¸见绦嚗?½娍纸ºæé燵掸撠漤ç蝝½瘝单腹å藁嚗?¸滩迂銝鈭箸腹é汿 | 28And he said to them: Follow me: for the Lord hath delivered our enemies the Moabites into our hands. And they went down after him, and seized upon the fords of the Jordan, which are in the way to Moab: and they suffered no man to pass over. |
| 29撠勖銁éå辷¼?»硋烐捏鈭æé燵掸鈭个´劐¸è嚗?æ糓憯臭¸?憯恬¼?²埝劐¸å衤荦éã | 29But they slew of the Moabites at that time, about ten thousand, all strong and Valiant men: none of them could escape. |
| 30驱鲉憭抵丝嚗æé燵掸撅?齿䲰隞亥åæ衤¸页¼¢挢喳®劐ºå侨ã | 30And Moab was humbled that day under the hand of Israel: and the land rested eighty years. |
| 31å銁隞碶诳驱?¼?é燵蝝滨鹱ç 鍦瘝䠷»睃删?嚗?»碶诳頞閧£埝捏鈭ç参å畺è贝滨鹱鈭绰¼?墙æ睲º隞亥åã | 31After him was Samgar the son of Anath, who slew of the Philistines six hundred men with a ploughshare: and he also defended Israel. |
