| 3ç驱?牧嚗?¸蜓隞亥åç予銝鸣¼隞暻浇銁隞亥å銝剥梶䔄ç煺º嗘º页¼?»软煺蝙隞亥å銝剖°睲º¸æ瘣橘¼麄 | 3O Lord God of Israel, why is so great an evil come to pass in thy people, that this day one tribe should be taken away from among us? |
| 4甈⊥嚗?参憪㮖¸æ韏瑚¾¼?銁é鋆∠¯劐º¸摨抒平憯¼?㭱鈭ç平è?像蟡准 | 4And rising early the next day, they built an altar: and offered there holocausts, and victims of peace, and they said: |
| 5隞亘¾?¼隞亥å摮鼗°穃呓牧嚗隞亥åç䔿æ瘣历叶嚗?㕑狐瘝埝劐¸?銝蜓éå㵪¼?嚗麄滚删隞硋穃 ?滚°齿䲰é鈭銝滢¸蝐唾篬掸å?銝蜓éå滢¾荦嚗?㦛ç䔄é隤刊牧嚗?香ç韏佗¼ | 5Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the army of the Lord? for they had bound themselves with a great oath, when they were in Maspha, that whosoever were wanting should be slain. |
| 6隞亥å摮鼗°穃°滢»硋¼笔 æé韏瑚º鼗銋见¿牧嚗?»予隞亥å蝯蓥º¸æ瘣整 | 6And the children of Israel being moved with repentance for their brother Benjamin, began to say: One tribe is taken away from Israel. |
| 7æ穃烐㦛æ¸蜓韏珲馆ª橒¼?捱銝滚°穃戊å 垍策隞硋愦鸣¼?暻潘¼?穃烐举见蝯行å?銝讠荦憡嗅氖å嚗麄 | 7Whence shall they take wives? For we have all in general sworn, not to give our daughters to them. |
| 8隞硋穃?呓牧嚗隞亥åç䔿æ瘣历叶嚗?厂銝æ瘣暹²埝劐¸蝐唾篬掸靘?銝蜓éå滚嚗麄滨页¼?眏å抅è钅燵驱烾²嘥ㄚ銝剜²埝劐¸鈭筝ç¼? | 8Therefore they said: Who is thereof all the tribes of Israel, that came not up to the Lord to Maspha. And behold the inhabitants of Jabes Galaad were found not to have been in that army. |

| 10å䭾迨æ䔿æ梶䔄銝è鈭?ㄚå?é鋆∪绦嚗?å»硋牧嚗?½惩穃绦ç鍂å撅䭾捏å抅è钅燵驱烾²嘥ㄚç±°¼??岫憟喳酋摮鞾å銁åã | 10So they sent ten thousand of the most valiant men, and commanded them, saying: Go and put the inhabitants of Jabes Galaad to the sword, with their wives and their children. |
| 11雿惩¦蹱见雿頣¼æ厩琸摮?琸摮?举?ç岫憟喉¼?椘銵?捏æ㚁¼?½¦¿萘体訫戊ã滢»硋穃停é蹱见雿靝º | 11And this is what you shall observe: Every male, and all women that have known men, you shall kill, but the virgins you shall save. |
| 12隞硋穃銁å抅è钅燵驱烾²嘥ㄚ撅°睲¹衤叶嚗?°见¾º参åæ㦛隤滩㗛琸摮琜¼?¹æ㦛è琸摮?举?ç°穃侨è訫戊嚗?停æ旦å穃葆å?摰Y´滨½åå蟮蝢 ç蠘ㄐã | 12And there were found of Jabes Galaad four hundred virgins, that had not known the bed of a man, and they brought them to the camp Silo, into the land of Chanaan. |
| 13åæ䔿å?梶䔄鈭筝¾暺撗拍å绦嚗?½誩銁é鋆∠æé摮重隢ế嚗?»硋¬? | 13And they sent messengers to the children of Benjamin, that were in the rock Remmon, and commanded them to receive them in peace. |
| 14æé摮重ç訜æ停å硺¾º¼?䔿撠望å抅è钅燵驱烾²嘥ㄚ憟喳叶æ靽萘嗵°穃戊嚗?策隞硋愦鸣¼?½糓æ彍ç銝滩云ã | 14And the children of Benjamin came at that time, and wives were given them of the daughters of Jabes Galaad: but they found no others, whom they might give in like manner. |
| 15瘗䔿隞滨æé鈭筝敹é¼?删銝蜓雿¿隞亥åæ瘣历叶æ劐º撩é萅ã | 15And all Israel was very sorry, and repented for the destroying of one tribe out of Israel. |
| 16æ䔿çè牧嚗æéç岫憟单çé瘨?»º¼?穃烐举见蝯行å?銝讠荦憡嗅氖å嚗麄 | 16And the ancients said: What shall we do with the rest, that have not received wives? for all the women in Benjamin are dead. |
| 17å?牧嚗æéç瘗府æ㗇㗁å嚤嚗? 滚¾隞亥å銝剜陈瘝雴¸æã | 17And we must use all care, and provide with great diligence, that one tribe be not destroyed out of Israel. |
| 18雿糓嚗?穃睲¸滩撠撌梁戊å 垍策隞硋愦鸣¼?删隞亥åæ㦛韏瑁ª刊牧嚗期狐æ戊å 垍策æé鈭箸糓å虾閰垍¼ | 18For as to our own daughters we cannot give them, being bound with an oath and a curse, whereby we said: Cursed be he that shall give Benjamin any of his daughters to wife. |
| 19æ劐荦隤迎¼?页¼?侨挢游銁å蟮蝢 è㕑¡?¸蜓ç蝭ãâå蟮蝢 雿齿䲰鞎萘鹱è³銋见槟¼鞎萘鹱è³èè齿觅憭扯楝銋嚗è郭蝝銋见 | 19So they took counsel, and said: Behold there is a yearly solemnity of the Lord in Silo, which is situate on the north of the city of Bethel, and on the east side of the way, that goeth from Bethel to Sichem, and on the south of the town of Lebona. |
| 20æ䲰æ糓隞硋策æé摮重å銝饼呓牧嚗?½惩穃¾è鸡è鍦绦嚗?誩銁é鋆~ | 20And they commanded the children of Benjamin, and said: Go, and lie hid in the vineyards, |
| 21蝑匧?雿惩贝¦å蟮蝢 ç咱憟喳靘烾岁è¼?½惩穃停驱噼鸡è雴叶å靘¼?¾å蟮蝢 ç戊å 雴叶嚗?阔銝å讠愦鸣¼?驱?æéåæ䲮å绦ã | 21And when you shall see the daughters of Silo come out, as the custom is, to dance, come ye on a sudden out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife among them, and go into the land of Benjamin. |
| 22憟孵?阆芣硋 ¼蠘æ糓å靘穃?隢吔¼?穃穃停隤迎¼±½惩穃嚗?驱嗘º荦嚗?删隞硋烐?å聦銝²埝匧¾堒?憟喳鞟愦鸣¼³¸?¸齿糓雿惩穃°戊å 雴漱蝯虫»硋¼æ糓雿惩策ç¼?撠望厩蔽鈭 | 22And when their fathers and their brethren shall come, and shall begin to complain against you, and to chide, we will say to them: Have pity on them for they took them not away as by the right of war or conquest, but when they asked to have them, you gave them not, and the fault was committed on your part. |
| 23æé摮重撠梢蹱见雿靝º¼㗇彍çæ阔頝唾䂿戊摮琜¼?邑銝å讠愦鸣¼ | 23And the children of Benjamin did, as they had been commanded: and according to their number, they carried off for themselves every man his wife of them that were dancing: and they went into their possession and built up their cities, and dwelt in them. |
| 24隞亘¾?»硋穃停韏唬º¼?䞶?è撌梁璆哨¼?滚遣å¼?½誩銁é鋆~诳驱隞亥å摮鼗°穃¾鲉鋆∪噼撌梁瘣晓?振æ¼?¾鲉鋆∪噼撌梁振é剹 | 24The children of Israel also returned by their tribes, and families, to their dwellings. In those days there was no king in Israel: but every one did that which seemed right to himself. |
