They went on their way, and when they came to mount Ephraim, they went into the house of Michas, and rested there: |

| 4隞硋䂿磰牧嚗蝐喳 驱穃¦迨愦迨嚗»䀝º睲½靝»虬蟡准 | 4He answered them: Michas hath done such and such things for me, and hath hired me to be his priest. |
| 5隞硋穃°滢»牧嚗?½䭾±誩予銝鸣¼?蝙æ穃䰻é橒¼?穃穃°粥ç楝é å¼麄 | 5Then they desired him to consult the Lord, that they might know whether their journey should be prosperous, and the thing should have effect. |
| 6å虬蟡剖䂿»硋牧嚗?½惩穃像摰匧绦蝵瘀¼¸蜓敹蝙雿惩烐韏啁楝é | 6He answered them: Go in peace, the Lord looketh on your way, and the journey that you go. |
| 7æ䲰æ糓é鈭衤荦撠勖绦鈭¼?¾?æ劐¾嘥ㄚ嚗?銁é鋆∠贝¦见叶ç荦瘗穃®匧±¨平嚗?¸愦瞍鈭箔¸璅?¼?像摰厩æ嚗?ç鞊¯?¼?¸çæ蝻绰¼蒂銝»硋煾瞍å?¼?é燵è嵰銋²埝匧¾靘 | 7So the five men going on came to Lais: and they saw how the people dwelt therein without any fear, according to the custom of the Sidonians, secure and easy, having no man at all to oppose them, being very rich, and living separated, at a distance from Sidon and from all men. |

| 9隞硋穃䂿磰牧嚗?丝靘¼?®穃睲¸?æ劐¾嘥ㄚå绦嚗?删æ穃穃歇撖毺钅¼?åç蠘蝢¼?½惩煾劐»暻潘¼煺¸滩¦漤撱冢¼?¶訫翰å绦雿娪 矋¼ | 9Arise, and let us go up to them: for we have seen the land which is exceeding rich and fruitful: neglect not, lose no time: let us go and possess it, there will be no difficulty. |
| 10å?é鋆∪绦嚗?糓å?銝å衤¸滩身é俈ç荦瘗煾鋆∪绦嚗?é撖砍诲éé¼予銝饺歇æå鈭文銁雿惩烐衤叶嚗偦åæ䲮ç?ç鞊¯?¼?¸çæ蝻箝 | 10We shall come to a people that is secure, into a spacious country, and the Lord will deliver the place to us, in which there is no want of any thing that groweth on the earth. |
| 11æ䲰æ糓æ匧ç参銝¹æ瘣晔荦嚗?葆è埈郎å膥嚗?¾蟡期麾åå¸榊è³åç䔄嚗 | 11There went therefore of the kindred of Dan, to wit, from Saraa and Esthaol, six hundred men, furnished with arms for war, |
| 12蝬㯄控頝荔¼?銁ç薗憭批 钅»鹱è园燵é险摰厩¼䭾迨嚗?åæ䲮ç凒å?隞å㙈雿栶銝¹ç麄㵪¼偦坔æ糓å銁å 钅»鹱è园燵é险镼输ã | 12And going up they lodged in Cariathiarim of Juda: which place from that time is called the camp of Dan, and is behind Cariathiarim. |
| 13隞硋穃?¾鲉鋆∠¶㯄å¼麾å 撅勖嚗?¾?蝐喳 ç½呓 | 13From thence they passed into mount Ephraim. And when they were come to the house of Michas, |
| 14ç訜æ ?绦蝒箸䔝éåçº衤荦嚗?迄撘笔 牧嚗?½惩䰻銝滨䰻é橒¼?銁甇文振åæ剹¼堒¾讹¿附麾è䠋ã誩?¸撠羓¥䞶¼毺å銁雿惩¦捱摰訜雿靝»暻潦 | 14The five men, that before had been sent to view the land of Lais, said to the rest of their brethren: You know that in these houses there is an ephod, and theraphim, and a graven, and a molten god: see what you are pleased to do. |
| 15æ䲰æ糓隞硋½匧蝐喳 ç½誩®¼?¾?撠穃侨è鈭个±贝ㄐ嚗?睲»«见®匧誩末ã | 15And when they had turned a little aside, they went into the house of the young man the Levite, who was in the house of Michas: and they saluted him with words of peace. |
| 16å?åç参銝¹鈭筝葆è堒å膥软坔銁éå藁嚗 | 16And the six hundred men stood before the door, appointed with their arms. |
| 17å ?绦æ䔝åç鈭衤荦撠曹¸绦嚗?唇?鋆⊿嚗?¦嚉é撠羓¥䞶譍蒂ã¼堒¾誩?¿附麾è䠋ã¼?迨æ虬蟡剖?åç参å见葆甇血膥ç荦软坔銁éå藁ã | 17But they that were gone into the house of the young man, went about to take away the graven god, and the ephod, and the theraphim, and the molten god, and the priest stood before the door, the six hundred valiant men waiting not far off. |
| 18ç訜é鈭荦é唇蝐喳 摰嗉ㄐ嚗?嚉é撠羓¥䞶讹¼堒¾誩?¿附麾è䠋ã¼?虬蟡剖譍»硋牧嚗?½惩穃纸»暻潘¼麄 | 18So they that were gone in took away the graven thing, the ephod, and the idols, and the molten god. And the priest said to them: What are you doing? |
| 19隞硋穃䂿磰牧嚗?¸滩¦½嚗?鍂æ焵雿譍½删藁嚗?·穃穃绦嚗?½穃苇å?虬蟡哨¼½½靝¸å衤荦摰嗥虬蟡剖末å嚗罚糓å銁隞亥å銝剥㮖½靝¸å瘣橘¼?¸摰呛雠虬蟡剖末å嚗麄 | 19And they said to him: Hold thy peace and put thy finger on thy mouth and come with us, that we may have thee for a father, and a priest. Whether is better for thee, to be a priest in the house of one man, or in a tribe and family in Israel? |
| 20å虬蟡剜遛æ擃䁅?¼?葆鈭¼堒¾讹¿附麾è䠋ã誩?¥䞶¼??鈭鈭荦銝剥瓐 | 20When he had heard this, he agreed to their words, and took the ephod, and the idols, and the graven god, and departed with them. |
| 21隞硋煾½㕑澈å䞶绦嚗?岫摮箝å藁隞亘¼齿å銁å齿䲮ã | 21And when they were going forward, and had put before them the children and the cattle and all that was valuable, |
| 22ç訜隞硋煾é蝐喳 ç½誩®㮾ç訜é删辷¼蝐喳 å蝐喳 摰园¿荦嚗?è丝靘¼?绦餈质¶銝¹ç重ã | 22And were now at a distance from the house of Michas, the men that dwelt in the houses of Michas gathering together followed them, |
| 23隞硋穃銝¹ç重å鐤å¼銝¹ç重å鲉馆劐¾°蝐喳 隤迎¼?½惩㙈å»暻潘¼麄 | 23And began to shout out after them. They looked back, and said to Michas: What aileth thee? Why dost thou cry? |
| 24蝐喳 å䂿磰牧嚗?½惩烐烐鋆赐¥䞶誩?虬蟡剥掸嗉粥嚗?煾劐»暻浇嚗獐雿惩煾烐牧嚗纸½½靝»暻潘¼麄 | 24And he answered: You have taken away my gods which I have made me and the priest, and all that I have, and do you say: What aileth thee? |
| 25銝¹ç重撠滢»牧嚗?¸滩¦滩®穃阆衤½删é嚗? 滚¾埈穃睲叶é㗇çç荦æ½惩¼?蝙雿惩?½惩摰园å憭望批嚗 | 25And the children of Dan said to him: See thou say no more to us, lest men enraged come upon thee, and thou perish with all thy house. |
| 26甇文¾?¼銝¹ç重蝜潜º?滩¡?¼蝐喳 阆衤»硋烐¯磰撌勖拨憭改¼?停頧㕑澈å硺º振ã | 26And so they went on the journey they had begun. But Michas seeing that they were stronger than he, returned to his house. |
| 27銝¹ç重掸嗉蝐喳 æå¥䞶誩?»§厩虬蟡哨¼?¾?æ劐¾嘥ㄚ嚗??鈭¸å见像摰厩æç荦瘗煾鋆∴¼?鍂åå齿捏æ?鈭»硋¼?çç雴ºå¼ | 27And the six hundred men took the priest, and the things we spoke of before, and came to Lais to a people that was quiet and secure, and smote them with the edge of the sword: and the city was burnt with fire, |
| 28瘝埝劐荦靘螱æ¼?删æ劐¾嘥ㄚé瞍驱?¼?é燵è嵰å?²埝匧¾靘坔½齿䲰鞎萘鹱å埝掸撅梯健銝哨¼銝¹ç重é滚遣é坔¼?½誩銁é鋆∴¼ | 28There being no man at all who brought them any succour, because they dwelt far from Sidon, and had no society or business with any man. And the city was in the land of Rohob: and they rebuilt it and dwelt therein. |
| 29æ劐»硋¥硋®槟¼隞亥åæç毺 鍦銝¹ç滚槟¼?策é坔馆丝å滚㙈銝¹嚗撖阡坔笔 ?滚㙈æ劐¾嘥ㄚã | 29Calling the name of the city Dan after the name of their father, who was the son of Israel, which before was called Lais. |
| 30銝¹ç重æ撠羓¥䞶雠«贝丝靘¼璇ç¾?£䈑¼é仪ç?éç重蝝´滚 å?»重雿銝¹æ瘣晔虬蟡哨¼?凒å?閰唇鋡急删ã | 30And they set up to themselves the graven idol, and Jonathan the son of Gersam the son of Moses, he and his sons were priests in the tribe of Dan, until the day of their captivity. |
| 31憭拐蜓ç挪å銁å蟮蝢 憭°烐嚗蝐喳 æ雿¥䞶誩銁銝¹æ瘣历叶銋毺«衤º¤°烐ã | 31And the idol of Michas remained with them all the time that the house of God was in Silo. In those days there was no king in Israel. |
