5ç訜é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°穃Œ隞亥列鈭斗?çš™€辷¼Œå抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€?æ‰睃¸ƒåæ䲮å绦隢‹靘嘥¼堒之å›硺¾€‚5And as they pressed hard upon them, the ancients of Galaad went to fetch Jephte out of the land of Tob to help them:
6隞硋€穃‘靘嘥¼堒之隤迎¼€?«衤½¾½ˆ穃€š绞掸伐¼?打é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°㻫€€6And they said to him: Come thou and be our prince, and fight against the children of Ammon.
7靘嘥¼堒之å›䂿­”å抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€牧嚗€?½惩€睲¸齿糓ææˆ¼?°ˆ煾€æˆš?摰冢¼毺å銁雿惩€煾é嚗?隞€暻洁¾æˆ¼麄€7And he answered them: Are not you the men that hated me, and cast me out of my father's house, and now you are come to me constrained by necessity?
8å抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€°靘嘥¼堒之隤迎¼€?ˆ穃€å銁靘雿䭾迤æ糓ç甇扎€«衤½惩’?ˆ穃€睲¸€å?›䞶绦嚗?打é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°¼?½ˆ穃€¼?½œå抅è‚钅燵驱—所æœ匧±°š¦㚚 盐€€8And the princes of Galaad said to Jephte: For this cause we are now come to thee, that thou mayst go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be head over all the inhabitants of Galaad.
9靘嘥¼堒之撠å抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€牧嚗€?½惩€煾 䀹ˆ穃›䞶绦嚗?Œé燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°睲½?嚗?¦ž靝¸蜓撠»硋€睲漱蝯行ˆ¼?暻潭ˆ穃停雿靝½惩€š¦㚚 矋¼€9Jephte also said to them: If you be come to me sincerely, that I should fight for you against the children of Ammon, and the Lord shall deliver them into my band, shall I be your prince?
10å抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€°靘嘥¼堒之隤迎¼€?¸蜓å銁æˆ穃€睲叶é–㮖½­㚁¼ˆ穃€穃¿雿删š店撖西¡?€€10They answered him: The Lord who heareth these things, he himself is mediator and witness that we will do as we have promised.
11靘嘥¼堒之撠梯ˆ‡å抅è‚钅燵驱—çšè€¸€å?›䞶绦嚗?参憪梶«衤»硋纸»硋€š¦㚚 睃’?绞掸伐¼›靘嘥¼堒之å銁蝐唾篬掸•嚗?銁銝蜓éå‰㵪¼??Š»㚚€嗘¸€åˆ店é䒰餈唬º¸€é溻€‚11Jephte therefore went with the princes of Galaad, and all the people made him their prince. And Jephte spoke all his words before the Lord in Maspha.
12靘嘥¼堒之撠望晷雿辑€?é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°Ž钅鋆∟牧嚗€?½㰘ˆˆ睲½訫仆嚗毺«煺¾ˆ煾€体ㄐææ‰ˆšœ笔嚗麄€12And he sent messengers to the king of the children of Ammon, to say in his name, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me, to waste my land?
13é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°šŽ见°靘嘥¼堒之çš蝙è€牧嚗€?›删隞亥列驱žåŸŠ銝¾š™€辷¼?噩雿ºˆš 睃œ¼?¾žé燵ç?颲²瘝喳?é›郭克瘝喉¼?凒å?蝝½†瘝喉¼å銁雿䭾‡匧’?像鈭日‚¼€13And he answered them: I Because Israel took away my land when he came up out of Egypt, from the confines of the Arnon unto the Jaboc and the Jordan: now therefore restore the same peaceably to me.
14靘嘥¼堒之å†齿‰梶䔄雿辑€绦阆‹é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°šŽ页¼Œ14And Jephte again sent word by them, and commanded them to say to the king of Ammon:
15撠滢»牧嚗€Œ靘嘥¼堒之é€蹱见隤迎¼š隞亥列銝行²埝œ劐噩雿”æé燵掸ƒçšœ笔和é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°šœ笔嚗Œ15Thus saith Jephte: Israel did not take away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:
16å›删隞亥列驱žåŸŠ銝¾š™€辷¼?糓蝬㯄举›‡¼??鈭†蝝丝嚗?€?¾?å㨃驱瑕ㄚ。16But when they came up out of Egypt, he walked through the desert to the Red Sea and came into Cades.
17隞亥列æ㦛瘣历蝙è€°åŽçŽ贝牧嚗期«贝®ˆ穃€¶㯄½删š 睃œ¼½糓åŽçŽ衤¸滩蝑娍‡㚁¼?‰梶䔄雿辑€?æé燵掸ƒçŽ钅鋆∴¼?½糓隞碶¹煺¸滩嚗䲰æ糓隞亥列靘输€㛖•坔銁å㨃驱瑕ㄚ。17And he sent messengers to the king of Edom, saying: Suffer me to pass through thy land. But he would not condescend to his request. He sent also to the king of Moab, who likewise refused to give him passage. He abode therefore in Cades,
18隞亘¾?»硋€¶㯄举›‡¼?¹鲉ŽåŽå和æé燵掸ƒå嚗?¾žæé燵掸ƒæéè€?¡?¼?銁é燵ç?颲²瘝哟é‚®厩‡¼»硋€睲蒂瘝埝œ厂€唇æé燵掸ƒçš¢•?¼?›删é燵ç?颲²æ糓æé燵掸ƒçš‚羓•?€‚18And went round the land of Edom at the side, and the land of Moab: and came over against the east coast of the land of Moab, and camped on the other side of the Arnon: and he would not enter the bounds of Moab.
19隞亥列å?晷雿辑€?é燵æ暺ŽçŽ‹æ蝝…嚗?朗韏怠¸œ‹çŽ钅鋆∴¼›隞亥列å睲»牧嚗期«贝®ˆ穃€¶㯄½删š 睃œ¼??æˆ穃€šæ䲮å绦。19So Israel sent messengers to Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and they said to him: Suffer me to pass through thy land to the river.
20ç而æ蝝…銝滢缣隞»隞亥列嚗?¸滚‡»硋€¶㯄»š¢•?¼蒂銝”æ蝝…é‚é›»‰€æœ厩š荦瘗¼?銁é›“?篬摰厩‡¼?Œ隞亥列鈭斗?。20But he also despising the words of Israel, suffered him not to pass through his borders: but gathering an infinite multitude, went out against him to Jasa, and made strong opposition.
21雿糓銝蜓隞亥列çš予銝饺°‡æ蝝…å»硋擃参憪㮖漱æ䲰隞亥列æ‰衤叶嚗?“捏鈭»硋€¼䲰æ糓隞亥列靘踹硋¾½誩銁éå的é燵æ暺Ž鈭箸‰€æœ厩šœ笔嚗Œ21And the Lord delivered him with all his army into the hands of Israel, and he slew him, and possessed all the land of the Amorrhite the inhabitant of that country,
22å硋¾—é燵æ暺Ž鈭绰¼?¾žé燵ç?颲²瘝喳?é›郭克瘝喉¼?¾墧›‡?蝝½†瘝单‰€æœ厩šœ笔。22And all the coasts thereof from the Arnon to the Jaboc, and from the wilderness to the Jordan.
23ç隞¸蜓隞亥列çš予銝鸣¼?眏è撌梁š参憪“隞亥列éå‰漤©€º†é燵æ暺Ž鈭绰¼?é㮖½‚¦½娍“€坔å—¼Ÿ23So the Lord the God of Israel destroyed the Amorrhite, his people of Israel fighting against him, and wilt thou now possess this land?
24雿㰘±?¸齿糓æ‡劐½娍“纸½删š¥žé仪æ憯«鞈靝½½娪 条š嚗?€?ˆ穃€烐‡劐½娍“ˆ穃€š予銝台¸蜓嚗?眏æˆ穃€穃‰齿‰€撽€¹衤荦çšå—¼Ÿ24Are not those things which thy god Chamos possesseth, due to thee by right? But what the Lord our God hath obtained by conquest, shall be our possession:
25çå銁嚗?é㮖½䭾¯”æé燵掸ƒçŽ‹瞍 㛖?çš…鍦­撌湔‹匧…‹é‚拨暻潘¼煺»碶½闹㦛與隞亥列ç?擛仿¼?ˆ€ˆ»硋€睲漱é举?嚗Ÿ25Unless perhaps thou art better than Balac the son of Sephor king of Moab: or canst shew that he strove against Israel and fought against him,
26隞亥列雿誩銁韏怠¸œ‹åé™¿烐煾绁嚗Œé燵瘣Ž?åé™¿烐煾绁嚗Œé燵ç?颲²瘝单窒撗佼Ÿ绁鋆∴¼?歇æœ劐¸厩参挢港¹衤¹¼?隞€暻浇銁é€蹱œ罚–橒¼?½惩€烐²埝œ㗇å›䞶嚗Ÿ26Whereas he hath dwelt in Hesebon, and the villages thereof, and in Aroer, and its villages, and in all the cities near the Jordan, for three hundred years. Why have you for so long a time attempted nothing about this claim?
27所隞交ˆ睲蒂瘝埝œ匧¾㛖蔽雿¼?€?½删«蠘¦Š惩拿æˆ¼?ˆˆ睲漱æ?嚗偦¡䁅£ếè€¸蜓隞予å銁隞亥列摮鼗°ˆ‡é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°睲叶é–枏ếææ糓é¼€27Therefore I do not trespass against thee, but thou wrongest me by declaring an unjust war against me. The Lord be judge and decide this day between Israel and the children of Ammon.
28雿糓é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°šŽ衤¸滩è驱ž靘嘥¼堒之å睲»硋åçš€嗘º店。28And the king of the children of Ammon would not hearken to the words of Jephte, which he sent him by the messengers.
29éæ™¸蜓çš¥鲉™齿䲰靘嘥¼堒之頨思¸¼?»硋停韏圈å抅è‚钅燵驱—å’Œ暺条´滚”嚗?¾?å抅è‚钅燵驱—çš„蝐唾篬掸•嚗??¾žå抅è‚钅燵驱—çš„蝐唾篬掸•嚗??鈭†é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°煾鋆~€‚29Therefore the spirit of the Lord came upon Jephte, and going round Galaad, and Manasses, and Maspha of Galaad, and passing over from thence to the children of Ammon,
30靘嘥¼堒之å睲¸蜓閮梢¡䁅牧嚗€?雿䭾ŠŠé燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°睲漱æ䲰æˆ烐‰衤叶嚗Œ30He made a vow to the Lord, saying: If thou wilt deliver the children of Ammon into my hands,
31ç訜æˆ眏é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°煾鋆∪像摰匧›硺¾™¼?¸滩«狐ç眏æˆ穃振門åå靘¿举æˆ¼?狐撠望‡㗇飞銝蜓嚗?ˆ¦Š»㭱雿ç‡平ã€€31Whosoever shall first come forth out of the doors of my house, and shall meet me when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, the same will I offer a holocaust to the Lord.
32æ䲰æ糓靘嘥¼堒之å?é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°煾鋆∟ˆ»硋€睲漱æ?嚗?¸蜓æŠ»硋€睲漱å銁隞‰衤叶嚗Œ32And Jephte passed over to the children of Ammon, to fight against them: and the Lord delivered them into his hands.
33æ䲰æ糓隞硋¾žé燵瘣Ž?æ“捏隞硋€凒å?蝐喳侧ç鹱嚗?凒å?é燵鞎肽€哟仪颲?˜Ž嚗?鈭?涟åŸ¼?秘å銁æ糓銝€å聦憭扯萧æ“?嚗䲰æ糓é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°穃銁隞亥列摮鼗°穃‰滚±?œ滢º€‚33And he smote them from Aroer till you come to Mennith, twenty cities, and as far as Abel, which is set with vineyards, with a very great slaughter: and the children of Ammon were humbled by the children of Israel.
34靘嘥¼堒之å›䞶?蝐唾篬掸•è撌勖振銝剜™¼?œ页¼?»š戊å…鍦靘¼?“¼刊岁èˆ䞶‰滢¾¿举隞硔€旦æ糓靘嘥¼堒之çš崖ç”笔戊嚗?膄憟嫣诳憭吔¼?²埝œ匧çš­戊。34And when Jephte returned into Maspha to his house, his only daughter met him with timbrels and with dances: for he had no other children.
35ç訜靘嘥¼堒之銝€阆衤º旦嚗?停æ’閧聦銵?œ滩牧嚗€?“‘€嚗ˆš戊å…¼?½删œ煺蝙æˆ㜃æ嚗?云å㙈æˆ睲½鈭¼›删æˆ穃°滢¸蜓é–钅藁銝滩æå›€€35And when he saw her, he rent his garments, and said: Alas! my daughter, thou hast deceived me, and thou thyself art deceived: for I have opened my mouth to the Lord, and I can do no other thing.
36憟孵›䂿­»牧嚗€?ˆš?阆迎¼?½䭾ç撠滢¸蜓é–钅藁嚗?停ç雿㰘牧åçš°滚¾ˆ菱嚗›删銝蜓撌唇°滢½删š訽鈭ºé燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°¼?雿惩鈭»€€36And she answered him: My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth to the Lord, do unto me whatsoever thou hast promised, since the victory hath been granted to thee, and revenge of thy enemies.
37憟孵??阆芾牧嚗€?«衤½㰘迂æˆ睲¸€隞嗡º页¼策æˆ穃å€œ?šœ罚™琜¼?®ˆˆˆš捞靘嗅?撅曹¸绦嚗?“€å揑æˆš咱鞎€€37And she said to her father: Grant me only this which I desire: Let me go, that I may go about the mountains for two months, and may bewail my virginity with my companions.
38隞­娍‡㕑牧嚗€?½惩绦蝵瘀¼€滚停霈枏旦éå绦åå€œ?š™–瓐€旦撠勖绦鈭¼?ˆ旦çš捞靘嗅銁撅曹¸“€å揑è撌梁š咱鞎€‚38And he answered her: Go. And he sent her away for two months. And when she was gone with her comrades and companions, she mourned her virginity in the mountains.
