3é€嗘º°烐—誩停æ糓å畺è‚贝ˆ滨鹱鈭个šº€钅…钅嚗?¸€åˆ‡摰Y´滨½•鈭箝€瞍鈭筝’?½誩銁暺毁憳©撅曹¸¼?朗驱ž撌渲€唾笋ç?摮Ÿ撅梁凒å?å“?麐ç鹱é—藁的掸?¨鈭箝€‚3The five princes of the Philistines, and all the Chanaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hevites that dwelt in mount Libanus, from mount Baal Hermon to the entering into Emath.
4隞硋€•坔銁é鋆⊥糓çè€©—隞亥列鈭绰¼?œ衤»硋€烐糓å炏è驱硺¸蜓藉璇‘Ÿåå’»硋€¥硋…?š鈭炕å。4And he left them, that he might try Israel by them, whether they would hear the commandments of the Lord, which he had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses, or not.
5隞亥列摮鼗°穃停雿誩銁摰Y´滨½•鈭箝€韏怎鹱鈭箝€é燵æ暺Ž鈭箝€å畺暺½Š鈭箝€掸?¨鈭筝’Œè€呛郊æ鱻鈭箔叶é–橒¼Œ5So the children of Israel dwelt in the midst of the Chanaanite, and the Hethite, and the Amorrhite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite:
6软毺憡嗡º»硋€š戊摮鞟愦鸣¼?¹Š撌梁š戊å…鍦«策隞硋€š…鍦­琜¼?º见¥劐º»硋€š¥€‚6And they took their daughters to wives, and they gave their own daughters to their sons, and they served their gods.
7隞亥列摮鼗°¡?º¸蜓阆æçšº页¼?¿睃㭱鈭¸蜓隞硋€š予銝鸣¼?€?º见¥劐º†撌渲€³隢貊¥䞶’Œé燵èˆ滩麾隢佼戊蟡¼›7And they did evil in the sight of the Lord, and they forgot their God, and served Baalim and Astaroth.
8å›䭾迨銝蜓撠隞亥列憭抒䔄敹踵€¼?°»硋€睲漱å銁åŽ王é›•»举²坔¡娍捕æ‰衤叶嚗Œ隞亥列摮鼗°煾œ滢º衤º†é›•»举²坔¡娍捕å挢氩€‚8And the Lord being angry with Israel, delivered them into the hands of Chusan Rasathaim king of Mesopotamia, and they served him eight years.
9ç訜隞亥列摮鼗°穃睲¸蜓å鐤蝐脱™¼?¸蜓蝯¦隞亥列摮鼗°ˆ?丝鈭¸€å€墙æ•睲»硋€š•烐˜¼?朗åŠ㰘‚见¸ƒçš¼笔¼Ÿå?蝝齿活çš…鍦­æ•鹱撠潸€³ã€‚9And they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour, and delivered them, to wit, Othoniel the son of Cenez, the younger brother of Caleb:
10銝蜓çš¥鲉™滚銁隞澈銝¼?»碶½靝º†隞亥列çš°煾嚗?å绦雿?嚗¸蜓把åŽ王é›•»举²坔¡娍捕鈭文銁隞‰衤叶嚗?»šåŠ‹嗪º†é›•»举²坔¡娍捕。10And the spirit of the Lord was in him, and he judged Israel. And he went out to fight, and the Lord delivered into his hands Chusan Rasathaim king of Syria, and he overthrew him.
11æ䲰æ糓å›¢像摰劐º›侨。11And the land rested forty years, and Othoniel the son of Cenez died.
12隞亥列摮鼗°穃?¡?º¸蜓阆æçšº页¼?¸蜓撠勖拨化æé燵掸ƒçŽ‹åŽ仪隆å绦打隞亥列嚗?›删隞硋€¡?º¸蜓阆æçšº卝€‚12And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord: who strengthened against them Eglon king of Moab: because they did evil in his sight.
13隞å?º†é燵摮Ÿ摮鼗°穃’Œé燵ç麐è‚见…‹鈭绰¼?‰滢¾“•—隞亥列嚗?½娍“纸º£闹邦åŸ¼›13And he joined to him the children of Ammon, and Amalec: and he went and overthrew Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.
14隞亥列éœ滢º衤º†æé燵掸ƒçŽ‹åŽ仪隆å挢氩€‚14And the children of Israel served Eglon king of Moab eighteen years:
15ç訜隞亥列摮鼗°穃睲¸蜓å鐤蝐脱™¼?¸蜓蝯虫»硋€ˆ?丝鈭¸€雿齿墙æ•€¼?停æ糓æé›˜Ž鈭ºé仪颲£çš…鍦­åŽ驱—嚗?»糓撌血æ‰贝åç鍂çš荦嚗›隞亥列摮鼗°睲噶瘣历»策æé燵掸ƒçŽ‹åŽ仪隆ç㭱鞎Y?。15And afterwards they cried to the Lord, who raised them up a saviour called Aod, the son of Gera, the son of Jemini, who used the left hand as well as the right. And the children of Israel sent presents to Eglon king of Moab by him.
16åŽ驱—é ‚嗘º¸€æŠ¸€è‚㗛çš›坔ˆˆ€嚗?鍦銁åè銵?œ滚º蓥¸页¼Œ16And he made himself a two-edged sword, with a haft in the midst of the length of the palm of the hand, and was girded therewith under his garment on the right thigh.
17靘?æé燵掸ƒçŽ‹åŽ仪隆å‰滨㭱鞎Y?──åŽ仪隆åŽ糓å€扔èèƒš荦。17And he presented the gifts to Eglon king of Moab. Now Eglon was exceeding fat.
18ç㭱摰?甜ç?隞亘¾?¼?停æŠ䠋鞎Y?çš荦æ‰梶䔄韏堆¼Œ18And when he had presented the gifts unto him, he followed his companions that came along with him.
19è撌勖㭱ç眏å抅è€喳Š㰘€³æåƒ誯鋆⊿€€å›¼?牧嚗€?Ž见‘€嚗ˆ烐œ㗇©笔¯º贝¦°滢½㰘牧ã€€滨Ž贝牧嚗€?€€銝页¼€齿䲰æ糓靘滨«见椰åçš荦é退å绦。19Then returning from Galgal, where the idols were, be said to the king: I have a secret message to thee, O king. And he commanded silence: and all being gone out that were about him,
20åŽ驱—靘?隞·笔‰㵪¼?»迤ç崖èå銁瘨浇蝱銝羓š?摮鞱ㄐ嚗›åŽ驱—隤迎¼€?ˆ烐œ厩¥噼垠å‘迄雿¼€滨Ž见停驱噼撌梁š涟雿滢¸丝软页¼›20Aod went in to him: now he was sitting in a summer parlour alone, and he said: I have a word from God to thee. And he forthwith rose up from his throne,
21åŽ驱—é挠撌行‰见¾䞶è銝‹刀靘¼??å隞šé嚗Œ21And Aod put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly,
22æŸ’?ˆ€éå?鈭€唇绦嚗?„éŒ½譍ºˆ€摮琜¼?»²埝œ匧¾噼‚­鞱ㄐæŠˆ€æå靘¼›22With such force that the haft went in after the blade into the wound, and was closed up with the abundance of fat. So that he did not draw out the dagger, but left it in his body as he had struck it in. And forthwith by the secret parts of nature the excrements of the belly came out.
23åŽ驱—å靘?鈭粥撱¼?Š饮å蝱銝羓š–€é—靝¸¼?¸ºŽ硔€‚23But Aod carefully shutting the doors of the parlour and locking them,
24隞硋å绦銋见¾?¼?Ž贝å‰滢¾¼?œ贝¦饮å蝱çš?門é—‘槟¼?停隤迎¼€?»碶¸€摰銁瘨浇蝱銝羓š摰方ㄐ靘踵荦ã€€24Went out by a postern door. And the king's servants going in, saw the doors of the parlour shut, and they said: Perhaps he is easing nature in his summer parlour.
25驱»硋€­厩鈭¼?œ贝¦²埝œ劐荦靘–饮å蝱銝羓š–€嚗?»硋€穃停æ嚉é曲åŒ蹱Š–€é–衤º¼?¦衤»硋€š蜓摮鞱荦å銁å銝香鈭€‚25And waiting a long time till they were ashamed, and seeing that no man opened the door, they took a key: and opening, they found their lord lying dead on the ground.
26å銁隞硋€薗鞊怎š™€辷¼ŒåŽ驱—撌修¶㯄€粥嚗?¹鲉举åƒ¼?€?€¾€è靘肽麾。26But Aod, while they were in confusion, escaped, and passed by the place of the idols, from whence he had returned. And he came to Seirath:
27隞硋?鈭鋆∴¼?停å銁åŽ¼麾因撅勖åè™蠘§¼Œ隞亥列摮鼗°穃停å?»眏撅勖銝衤¾¼?»硋銁隞硋€穃‰漤嚗Œ27And forthwith he sounded the trumpet in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel went down with him, he himself going in the front.
28撠滢»硋€牧嚗€?½惩€··蠘‘埈ˆ¼?›删銝蜓æŠ½惩€š»訽æé燵掸ƒ鈭筝歇鈭斗䲰雿惩€烐‰衤叶嚗€滢»硋€煾·煺»碶¸见绦嚗?½娍“纸º†æé燵掸ƒ撠漤的蝝½†瘝单腹å藁嚗?¸滩迂銝€鈭箸腹é汿€‚28And he said to them: Follow me: for the Lord hath delivered our enemies the Moabites into our hands. And they went down after him, and seized upon the fords of the Jordan, which are in the way to Moab: and they suffered no man to pass over.
29撠勖銁éå€™€辷¼?»硋€烐“捏鈭†æé燵掸ƒ鈭个´œ劐¸€è嚗?æ糓憯臭¸’?憯恬¼?²埝œ劐¸€å€衤荦é€。29But they slew of the Moabites at that time, about ten thousand, all strong and Valiant men: none of them could escape.
30驱鲉憭抵丝嚗Œæé燵掸ƒ撅?œ齿䲰隞亥列æ‰衤¸页¼¢挢喳®劐ºå侨。30And Moab was humbled that day under the hand of Israel: and the land rested eighty years.
31å銁隞碶诳驱?¼?œ‰é燵蝝滨鹱çš…鍦­瘝䠷»睃Š删?嚗?»碶诳頞閧‰£埝“捏鈭ç参å畺è‚贝ˆ滨鹱鈭绰¼?墙æ•睲º†隞亥列。31After him was Samgar the son of Anath, who slew of the Philistines six hundred men with a ploughshare: and he also defended Israel.
