2å瘗䔿嚗?朗隞亥列å瘣晔š¦㚚 矋¼?åˆ予銝饵参憪梶š›œ¼嚉刀çš郊å嚗?æœ匧›。2And all the chiefs of the people, and all the tribes of Israel met together in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen fit for war.
3æé›˜Ž摮重銋蠘隤ª隞亥列摮鼗°穃?鈭†蝐唾篬掸•。隞亥列摮鼗°牧嚗€?€嗘辣æ鈭糓æ€举见ç䔄ç”毺š¼?«衤½惩€腻隤芯¸€é㵪¼€3(Nor were the children of Benjamin ignorant that the children of Israel were come up to Maspha.) And the Levite the husband of the woman that was killed, being asked, how so great a wickedness had been committed,

5å抅鞎苷ºžçš瘗丝靘æ“ˆ¼?¤–枏Œœ齿ˆ煾¤š½誩®¼?¼œ捏摰单ˆ¼?蒂æŠˆš污撘瑕圻è甇飒€‚5And behold the men of that city in the night beset the house wherein I was, intending to kill me, and abused my wife with an incredible fury of lust, so that at last she died.
6å›删隞硋€穃銁隞亥列銝剥–刊¡?º€嗵狙å璆菜çš†靝º页¼?ˆ煾°ˆš污åˆˆ鞟¢¡¼?漤€隞亥列å抅璆剖。6And I took her and cut her in pieces, and sent the, parts into all the borders of your possession: because there never was so heinous a crime, and so great an abomination committed in Israel.
7隞亥列摮重嚗?«衤½惩€穃之摰嗉牧å雿惩€š„呓¦见’?°滨­硔€€7You are all here, O children of Israel, determine what you ought to do.
8éæ™擃娍°䔿憟贤ƒ譍¸€å€衤荦銝€璅?韏瑚¾牧嚗€?ˆ穃€睲叶隤唬¹煺¸滩¦¿›噼撌修š董挢¼?狐銋煺¸滩¦›噼撌梁š振嚗Œ8And all the people standing, answered as by the voice of one man: We will not return to our tents, neither shall any one of us go into his own house:
9çå銁æˆ穃€穃停阆€蹱见撠滢»˜å抅鞎苷ºž嚗?蝐日€脱嚗Œ9But this we will do in common against Gabaa:
10ç眏隞亥列å瘣历叶嚗?¯雠参鈭箸å荦嚗?¯誩荦æç参鈭绰¼?¯呓鈭箸å荦嚗?策瘗䔿é钅€»滨扣嚗¾䔿鈭筝?達æé›˜Žçš„å抅鞎苷ºž驱?¼?Œ厩éåŸ銁隞亥列銝剥–‰€銵?š†靝º见驱拙®€€10We will take ten men of a hundred out of all the tribes of Israel, and a hundred out of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to bring victuals for the army, that we might fight against Gabaa of Benjamin, and render to it for its wickedness, what it deserveth.
11æ䲰æ糓隞亥列鈭卑å?丝靘æ“åŸ¼?虾甇文?½œ匧¦¸€鈭箝€‚11And all Israel were gathered together against the city, as one man, with one mind, and one counsel:
12隞亥列ç䔿æ瘣晓榆鈭筝¾€æé›˜Žæ瘣晔š振隤迎¼€?½惩€睲叶é–€獐ç䔄ç”煺º€蹱见çš鈭页¼Ÿ12And they sent messengers to all the tribe of Benjamin to say to them: Why hath so great an abomination been found among you?
13çå銁雿惩€烐Š鈭荦嚗?朗å抅鞎苷ºžçš鞈港¹见¾¼?漱å靘¼?ˆ穃€穃末è™闹香隞硋€¼?¾ž隞亥列銝剖䳍é膄é€䠷æã€€æé›˜Ž摮重å㭱銝滩è驱硺»硋…¼笔€‘隞亥列摮鼗°š鐤è嚗›13Deliver up the men of Gabaa, that have committed this heinous crime, that they may die, and the evil may be taken away out of Israel. But they would not hearken to the proposition of their brethren the children of Israel:
14æé›˜Ž摮重å滩€?¾䞶Ÿ馆›丝靘¼?¾?å抅鞎苷ºž嚗?¦ˆ‡隞亥列摮鼗°睲漱æ?。14But out of all the cities which were of their lot, they gathered themselves together into Gabaa, to aid them, and to fight against the whole people of Israel.
15é銝€憭抬¼Œæé›˜Ž鈭筝¾䞶Ÿ¾š閮?èåå嚉刀çš¼Œå抅鞎苷ºžçš±°穃°閮?®堒銁å。15And there were found of Benjamin five and twenty thousand men that drew the sword, besides the inhabitants of Gabaa,
16å銁é€嗘º荦銝哨¼?‚œ厩鹱éçš¸参蝎晓嚗?撌血é–见¼橒¼?€见€贝ç鍂璈毺µ‹讠嚗?神é‡¸滨?。16Who were seven hundred most valiant men, fighting with the left hand as well as with the right: and slinging stones so sure that they could hit even a hair, and not miss by the stone's going on either side.
17æé›˜Ž鈭粹膄憭吔¼Œ隞亥列鈭筝æœ匧›æ嚉刀çš¼?€见€钅æ糓æ?憯怒€‚17Of the men of Israel also, beside the children of Benjamin, were found four hundred thousand that drew swords, and were prepared to fight.
18隞亥列摮鼗°丝頨思¸?鞎萘鹱耳嚗?±•誩予銝饷牧嚗€?ˆ穃€睲叶隤啖府å…?¸绦與æé›˜Ž摮重雿?嚗麄€滢¸蜓蝑磰牧嚗€Œç薗憭§å…?绦ã€€18And they arose and came to the house of God, that is, to Silo: and they consulted God, and said: Who shall be in our army the first to go to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the Lord answered them: Let Juda be your leader.
19æ䲰æ糓隞亥列摮鼗°烐æ膥韏瑚¾¼?°滩‘—å抅鞎苷ºž摰厩‡麄€‚19And forthwith the children of Israel rising in the morning, camped by Gabaa:
20隞亥列鈭筝靘¦ˆ‡æé›˜Ž鈭箔漱æ?嚗?銁å抅鞎苷ºžå‰漤æ唍é腼蝑匧¾»硋€㻫€‚20And going out from thence to fight against Benjamin, began to assault the city.
21æé›˜Ž摮重驱žå抅鞎苷ºžå靘¿举?嚗?銝€憭拇捏甇台ºº?鈭?ƒ隞亥列鈭箝€‚21And the children of Benjamin coming out of Gabaa, slew of the children of Israel that day two and twenty thousand men.
22隞亘¾?¼?䔿隞亥列å?¼刊丝å‹除嚗??銁å‰滢¸€æ掸腼çšæ䲮掸腼。22Again Israel trusting in their strength and their number, set their army in array in the same place, where they had fought before:
23鈭见‰㵪¼Œ隞亥列摮鼗°穃…?¸?鞎萘鹱耳嚗?銁銝蜓éå‰滚“€å揑嚗?¸€ç凒å?æ™纸¸¼?驱?±•譍¸蜓隤迎¼€?ˆ穃€穃虾å炏å†滚绦èˆˆ穃€š¼笔…„æé›˜Ž鈭斗?嚗麄€滢¸蜓蝑磰牧嚗€?虾銝绦ææ‰瓐€€23Yet so that they first went up and wept before the Lord until night: and consulted him, and said: Shall I go out any more to fight against the children of Benjamin my brethren, or not? And he answered them: Go up against them, and join battle.
24æ䲰æ糓蝚砌º?予嚗Œ隞亥列摮鼗°穃?绦æ打æé›˜Ž摮重。24And when the children of Israel went out the next day to fight against the children of Benjamin,
25æé›˜Ž鈭个洵鈭?予銋笔¾žå抅鞎苷ºžå靘ˆ‡隞亥列鈭箔漱æ?嚗??捏甇台º¸€èå千隞亥列摮鼗°¼?æ糓æ嚉刀çš荦。25The children of Benjamin sallied forth out of the gates of Gabaa: and meeting them made so great a slaughter of them, as to kill eighteen thousand men that drew the sword.
26隞亥列ç䔿摮鼗°¼?朗å瘗䔿嚗??¸?鞎萘鹱耳嚗?銁銝蜓éå‰滚“€å揑嚗?㟲æ蝳£毺凒å?æ™纸¸¼诳驱?¼?銁銝蜓éå‰滨㭱鈭ç‡平èˆ’?像蟡准€‚26Wherefore all the children of Israel came to the house of God, and sat and wept before the Lord: and they fasted that day till the evening, and offered to him holocausts, and victims of peace offerings,
27ã€鞾æ™予銝饵š´«迤å銁é鋆∴¼??™œ‰鈭鲉ƒŽçš­重åŽ‚钅燵åŒ萘?çš…鍦­銝蓥¹“?鱻å銁蝝«‰滢¾ã€€‘隞亥列摮鼗°穃?±•譍¸蜓隤迎¼€?ˆ穃€烐糓å炏æ‡匧†滚绦èˆˆ穃€š¼笔…„æé›˜Ž鈭箔漱æ?嚗ˆ糓隡烐?嚗麄€滢¸蜓蝑磰牧嚗€?½惩€烐‡劐¸绦嚗?›删æˆ烐˜予敹°»硋€睲漱å銁雿惩€烐‰衤叶ã€€27And inquired of him concerning their state. At that time the ark of the covenant of the Lord was there,
28隞亥列鈭筝停å銁å抅鞎苷ºžå›閮凋¸衤¼誩。28And Phinees the son of Eleazar the son of Aaron was over the house. So they consulted the Lord and said: Shall we go out any more to fight against the children of Benjamin our brethren, or shall we cease? And the Lord said to them: Go up, for to morrow I will deliver them into your hands.
29蝚砌¸匧予隞亥列摮鼗°睲¸绦æ打æé›˜Ž摮重嚗?銁å抅鞎苷ºž撠漤掸腼嚗?ƒ誩‰滚甈∩¸€璅?€‚29And the children of Israel set ambushes round about the city of Gabaa:
30æé›˜Ž摮重å靘¿举訽嚗?◤撘訫åŸ¤吔¼?銁å璇嘥之頝臭¸¼?”€â”€銝€璇嗪€¾€鞎萘鹱耳嚗?¸€璇嗪€¾€å抅鞎萘´…嚗?”€â”€åƒ誩‰滚甈∩¸€璅?¼?–见§捏æ訽嚗?銁ç视é‡停畾箸香鈭´œ劐¸匧€‹隞亥列鈭箝€‚30And they drew up their army against Benjamin the third time, as they had done the first and second.
31æé›˜Ž摮重é牧嚗€?»硋€穃ƒ誩‰齿活銝€璅?¼?銁æˆ穃€煾å‰齿‰•º€€滢½†隞亥列摮鼗°穃㭱隤迎¼€?ˆ穃€睲¸滚¦¾?€€嚗?¼蓥»硋€煾åŸ¼??憭扯楝銝¾€€31And the children of Benjamin boldly issued out of the city, and seeing their enemies flee, pursued them a long way, so as to wound and kill some of them, as they had done the first and second day, whilst they fled by two highways, whereof one goeth up to Bethel, and the other to Gabaa, and they slew about thirty men:
32ç訜隞亥列ç䔿鈭筝¾硺»硋€šæ䲮韏瑚¾¼?銁撌渲€喳¡麐ç?掸腼çš™€辷¼Œ隞亥列çš¼誩驱žé仪撌´镼输‚Ÿ衤¼雠šæ䲮銵嘥靘¼›32For they thought to cut them off, as they did before. But they artfully feigning a flight, designed to draw them away from the city, and by their seeming to flee to bring them to the highways aforesaid.
33å隞亥列銝剜‰€éåçš¸€è蝎晓朣¾打å抅鞎苷ºž嚗??ç?é䞶虏瞈€çƒ?¼?½糓æé›˜Ž鈭粹‚¸滨䰻é枏之蝳滩é。33Then all the children of Israel rising up out of the places where they were, set their army in battle array, in the place which is called Baalthamar. The ambushes also which were about the city, began by little and little to come forth,
34銝蜓å銁隞亥列å‰齿‰“Šæé›˜Ž鈭绰¼?銝€憭©隞亥列摮鼗°烐捏甇»æé›˜Ž鈭筝æœ劐º?鈭¸€ç参嚗?æ糓æ嚉刀çš荦。34And to march from the west side of the city. And other ten thousand men chosen out of all Israel attacked the inhabitants of the city. And the battle grew hot against the children of Benjamin: and they understood not that present death threatened them on every side.
35é€蹱见嚗Œæé›˜Ž摮重çœ见è撌勖歇憭望•€Ž煺¾†隞亥列鈭箔¾苷»堒銁å抅鞎苷ºžæ‰€閮凋¸讠š¼誩嚗?…?銁æé›˜Ž鈭筝‰漤€€å㭱嚗›35And the Lord defeated them before the children of Israel, and they slew of them in that day five and twenty thousand, and one hundred, all fighting men and that drew the sword.
36隡誩æ€仿€蠘¡嘥å抅鞎苷ºž嚗?¡嗪€脖¹见¾?¼?鍂刀撅䭾捏鈭åŸš荦。36But the children of Benjamin when they saw themselves to be too weak, began to flee. Which the children of Israel seeing, gave them place to flee, that they might come to the ambushes that were prepared, which they had set near the city.
37åŽ笔…ˆ隞亥列鈭卑ˆ¼誩蝝®¼?銁åŸæç嚗?诳ç…嗵銝辰çè™麄€‚37And they that were in ambush arose on a sudden out of their coverts, and whilst Benjamin turned their backs to the slayers, went into the city, and smote it with the edge of the sword.
38隞亥列鈭筝銁æ?å聦銝伃退çš™€辷¼Œæé›˜Žå‹闹‰捏甇»隞亥列鈭个´œ劐¸匧荦嚗?»硋€烐嚗€?šⅡ嚗?»硋€穃¦‰滢¸€隞¸€璅?¼?銁æˆ穃€穃‰齿捏æ•º€€38Now the children of Israel had given a sign to them, whom they had laid in ambushes, that after they had taken the city, they should make a fire: that by the smoke rising on high, they might shew that the city was taken.
39ç訜ç…蹱靽∟™笔¾䞶Ÿ叶銝辰çš™€辷¼Œæé›˜Ž鈭卑½厂馆澈靘¼?¦见åŸ…嗵瘝硋予嚗›39And when the children of Israel saw this in the battle (for the children of Benjamin thought they fled and pursued them vigorously, killing thirty men of their army)
40é時隞亥列鈭箔¹蠘½㕑澈å›硺¾¼›æé›˜Ž鈭筝之ç撽…?¼?›删çœ贝¦见之蝳滩é嚗Œ40And perceived as it were a pillar of smoke rise up from the city; and Benjamin looking back, saw that the city was taken, and that the flames ascended on high:
41é銁隞亥列鈭粹å‰滩½匧烐›‡š楝銝€绦嚗?½?憯怠㭱餈质驮è€?嚗?¾䞶Ÿ馆ㄐå靘š荦銋笔冗æ“»硋€¼›41They that before had made as if they fled, turning their faces stood bravely against them; which the children of Benjamin seeing, turned their backs,
42é€蹱见嚗Œ隞亥列鈭箸“蔑鈭†æé›˜Ž鈭绰¼?萧æ“»硋€¼?¾ž隢晓“ˆ頩漯隞硋€¼?凒å?é仪撌´撠漤çšæ䲮銋见。42And began to go towards the way of the desert, the enemy pursuing them thither also. And they that fired the city came also out to meet them.
43æé›˜Ž鈭粹腼鈭∩¸€èåå¼?æ糓å‹ㄚ。43And so it was, that they were slain on both sides by the enemies, and there was no rest of their men dying. They fell and were beaten down on the east side of the city Gabaa.
44å擗条š荦é頧㕑澈å‘埈›‡€¾€暺­Ÿ撗拍嚗Œ隞亥列鈭筝銁頝臭¸?Ž襔鈭»硋€睲叶鈭荦嚗诳驱?¼?凒餈贤?é仪撌´嚗?“捏鈭º?荦。44And they that were slain in the same place were eighteen thousand men, all most valiant soldiers.
45é銝€æ嚗Œæé›˜Ž銝剥腼鈭∠š¼?æœ劐º?鈭荦嚗Œ45And when they that remained of Benjamin saw this, they fled into the wilderness and made towards the rock that is called Remmon. In that flight, also as they were straggling and going different ways, they slew of them five thousand men. And as they went farther, they still pursued them, and slew also other two thousand.
46所å?銝讠šç参鈭绰¼?½㕑澈é€¾€æ›‡¼?凒å?暺­Ÿ撗拍嚗?銁暺­Ÿ撗拍銝凋½譍º›€œ?€‚46And so it came to pass, that all that were slain of Benjamin in divers places, were five and twenty thousand fighting men, most valiant for war.
47隞亥列鈭筝?›䞶?æé›˜Ž摮重é鋆∴¼?ŠŸš荦å’?ç•頣¼?诳å‰€é¦讠šç鍂刀畾个椘嚗蒂撠‰€蝬㯄šŸ举±䭾çç‡埝¯€ã€‚47And there remained of all the number of Benjamin only six hundred men that were able to escape, and flee to the wilderness: and they abode in the rock Remmon four months.
