²é愦晓°滢»䔄æ¼?停éé衤»硋硺ºç薗憭抒蒾åç?摰冢¼?銁é鋆∩½譍º?	²And she left him and returned to her father's house in Bethlehem, and abode with him four months.
³憟宁¸?井韏瑚¾¼?葆è¸å见蓥荦嚗?鸊鈭å撽Ｗ绦æ憟对¼?å绦æå誩旦嚗?䧧憟孵硺¾¼訜隞碶¾?é憟喳鞟?摰呛¼?撠穃戊ç?阆芯¸æ¦衤»吔¼?停å迭甇∪靘¿举隞硔	³And her husband followed her, willing to be reconciled with her, and to speak kindly to her, and to bring her back with him, having with him a servant and two asses: and she received him, and brought him into her father's house. And when his father in law had heard this, and had seen him, he met him with joy,
⁴隞众ç?嚗?朗é撠穃戊ç?阆迎¼?嗘»硋銁摰嗉ㄐ雿譍º¸㗇嚗?»硋穃銁é鋆∩¸朣å嘥±½讹	⁴And embraced the man. And the son in law tarried in the house of his father in law three days, eating with him and drinking familiarly.
⁵蝚砍予隞硋睲¸æ韏瑚¾¼è鈭卑丝頨怨¦粥嚗?撠穃戊ç?阆芸停撠滚戊憍辑牧嚗?½惩穃?鍂鈭偦¤¼?»鲉»䞶¿¼?驱?滩粥ã	⁵But on the fourth day arising early in the morning he desired to depart. But his father in law kept him, and said to him: Taste first a little bread, and strengthen thy stomach, and so thou shalt depart.
⁶æ䲰æ糓隞硋睲º?荦å¸衤¸韏瑕å嘅¼°穃戊ç?阆芸°漤鈭卑牧嚗?«衤½㰘³鲉嚗?滢½譍¸憭頣¼?漤«䁅?«䁅?¼	⁶And they sat down together, and ate and drank. And the father of the young woman said to his son in law: I beseech thee to stay here to day, and let us make merry together.
⁷é鈭卑丝頨怨¦粥嚗?½»众ç?æ蕟ç嗘º»吔¼?»硋?銁é鋆⊿º¸憭栶	⁷But he rising up began to be for departing. And nevertheless his father in law earnestly pressed him, and made him stay with him.
⁸蝚砌º予隞碶¸æ韏瑚¾¦粥嚗?½撠穃戊ç?阆芸?牧嚗?«见?º偦»䞶¿¼齿䲰æ糓鈭?荦å?¸å?镼选¼?凒å?æ撌痘正æ頣¼	⁸But when morning was come, the Levite prepared to go on his journey. And his father in law said to him again: I beseech thee to take a little meat, and strengthening thyself, till the day be farther advanced, afterwards thou mayest depart. And they ate together.
⁹é鈭筝?»污é?»蓥荦韏瑁澈阆粥嚗?»众ç?嚗?朗é撠穃戊ç?阆迎¼?°滢»牧嚗?½删页¼?予撌脱纸º¼?»予å銁é体ㄐå漤¸憭頣¼?漤«䁅?«䁅?¼?予皜韏瑚¾¼?¸楝å䞶振å绦蝵瘀¼	⁹And the young man arose to set forward with his wife and servant. And his father in law spoke to him again: Consider that the day is declining, and draweth toward evening: tarry with me to day also, and spend the day in mirth, and to morrow thou shalt depart, that thou mayest go into thy house.
¹⁰雿糓嚗?鈭箔¸漤¡睃漤¸憭頣¼?停掸嗉»污å?蓥荦嚗?诳å坔末çå撽Ｚ丝頨怨粥鈭¼?¾?è呛郊æ鱻嚗?朗è嗉楝æ鍦ç°漤ã	¹⁰His son in law would not consent to his words: but forthwith went forward and came over against Jebus, which by another name is called Jerusalem, leading with him two asses laden, and his concubine.
¹¹ç訜隞硋餈è呛郊æ鱻æ¼?撌痘正å¼?蓥荦撠勖°滢蜓鈭卑牧嚗?¾¼?®穃½匧绦嚗??é坔涟è呛郊æ鱻鈭筝馆ㄐå绦æ訫挪嚗	¹¹And now they were come near Jebus, and the day was far spent: and the servant said to his master: Come, I beseech thee, let us turn into the city of the Jebusites, and lodge there.
¹²銝台荦å䂿»牧嚗?穃睲¸滚虾é唇é坔涟銝滚敦隞亥å摮鼗°¤䲮鈭个¼?穃穃¾å抅鞎苷ºå绦蝵瘀¼	¹²His master answered him: I will not go into the town of another nation, who are not of the children of Israel, but I will pass over to Gabaa:
¹³隞硋?°滚蓥荦隤迎¼?¾¼穃穃?銝å见æ䲮å绦æ訫挪嚗?硋銁å抅鞎苷º嚗?硋銁颲?麐ã	¹³And when I shall come thither, we will lodge there, or at least in the city of Rama.
¹⁴æ䲰æ糓隞硋穃?¸楝å滩¡?¼?訜靘¿æéçå抅鞎苷ºæ¼?云é蒾撌修¶刊氜鈭	¹⁴So they passed by Jebus, and went on their journey, and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gabaa, which is in the tribe of Benjamin:
¹⁵隞硋煾脖ºå抅鞎苷º嚗?銁é鋆⊥訫挪嚗»硋煾唇¾?¼?停å銁å銵堒¸¸¼?删瘝埝劐荦æç嗘»硋穃銁摰嗡叶é挪ã	¹⁵And they turned into it, to lodge there. And when they were come in, they sat in the street of the city, for no man would receive them to lodge.
¹⁶æ劐¸å贝荦æ纸¸羓眏ç视é枏极雿硺¾¼?»硋糓å¼麾å 撅勖ç荦嚗?¯±銁å抅鞎苷º嚗å鈭筝㭱æ糓æé鈭箝	¹⁶And behold they saw an old man, returning out of the field and from his work in the evening, and he also was of mount Ephraim, and dwelt as a stranger in Gabaa; but the men of that country were the children of Jemini.
¹⁷éè荦è厩嚗?贝¦见銁å叶銵堒¸¸匧钅馆楝ç荦嚗?停å呓牧嚗?½惩¾é鋆∪绦嚗笔¾鲉鋆∩¾¼麄	¹⁷And the old man lifting up his eyes, saw the man sitting with his bundles in the street of the city, and said to him: Whence comest thou? and whither goest thou?
¹⁸è鈭筝䂿»牧嚗?穃烐糓驱ç薗憭抒蒾å靘¼?¾å¼麾å 撅勖ç¢绦ã烐æ糓éåæ䲮ç荦嚗?穃绦éç薗憭抒蒾å嚗?å銁阆䞶振å绦嚗?½²埝劐荦æç蹱穃?è撌勖振鋆∪绦ã	¹⁸He answered him: We came out from Bethlehem Juda, and we are going to our home, which is on the side of mount Ephraim, from whence we went to Bethlehem: and now we go to the house of God, and none will receive us under his roof:
¹⁹å撖行烐厩扣è厂今撽ｇ¼?æ穃?½删岷憟喃诳å·罚辶雿惩蓥荦ç坔钅鍦侨鈭绰¼?æ厂£毺扣å?¼?¸çæ蝻箝	¹⁹We have straw and hay for provender of the asses, and bread and wine for the use of myself and of thy handmaid, and of the servant that is with me: we want nothing but lodging.
²⁰éè荦撠滢»牧嚗?½䭾敹菱嚗½䭾é阆ç眏æ睲¾策嚗?蘨銝滚虾å銁銵¸¤栶	²⁰And the old man answered him: Peace be with thee: I will furnish all things that are necessary: only I beseech thee, stay not in the street.
²¹隞㚚 䀝»硋?è撌勖振鋆∴¼?今銝岷嚗?»硋烐´º嚗?诳驱?停å肽丝靘	²¹And he brought him into his house, and gave provender to his asses: and after they had washed their feet, he entertained them with a feast.
²²隞硋烐迤皛踵擃䁅?辷¼?页¼?å¸鈭鞈港¹见¾¼?滢½?撅䛵é嚗?°滢½振銝饵荦隤迎¼?滚?雿惩振çå衤荦é 睃靘¼?穃¦ª滩䀝»硔	²²While they were making merry, and refreshing their bodies with meat and drink, after the labour of the journey, the men of that city, sons of Belial, (that is, without yoke,) came and beset the old man's house, and began to knock at the door, calling to the master of the house, and saying: Bring forth the man that came into thy house, that we may abuse him.
²³摰嗡蜓å靘¦衤»硋¼?°滢»硋牧嚗?¼笔¼?¸滩¦¦迨嚗«衤½¸滩¦¡?蹱见ç鈭页¼嗘荦æé脖º振嚗?½惩烐捱銝滩銵?䠷靝º页¼	²³And the old man went out to them, and said: Do not so, my brethren, do not so wickedly: because this man is come into my lodging, and cease I pray you from this folly.
²⁴é体ㄐæ㗇戊å㘾糓è訫戊嚗?煾睃旦å靘¼?½惩穃虾隞饼情颲勖旦嚗?遥æ睲½惩穃¾旦嚗½糓撠齿䲰é嗘荦嚗?½惩烐捱銝滚虾雿嗵车é靝º页¼	²⁴I have a maiden daughter, and this man hath a concubine, I will bring them out to you, and you may humble them, and satisfy your lust: only, I beseech you, commit not this crime against nature on the man.
²⁵雿糓é鈭荦銝漤¡䁅隞吔¼耻鈭筝停æ㮖½呓撌梁污嚗?旦鈭斤策鈭»硋¼?»硋穃停隤滩䀝º旦嚗?㟲憭情颲勖旦嚗?凒å?ææ膥嚗?銁ç聦æ厩嗵º娍鈭旦ã	²⁵They would not be satisfied with his words; which the man seeing, brought out his concubine to them, and abandoned her to their wickedness: and when they had abused her all the night, they let her go in the morning.
²⁶憭拙翰鈭桃辷¼?憟喳䞶?ç坔旦銝台荦雿誩挪ç鈭筝±见㵪¼?·?鍦銁é鋆∴¼?凒å?憭拐渔ã	²⁶But the woman, at the dawning of the day, came to the door of the house where her lord lodged, and there fell down.
²⁷ææ膥嚗?訜憟宁蜓鈭卑丝靘钅嚗?å绦阆閗澈韏瑞¨¼?贝¦钅憟喃荦嚗?朗隞污嚗?¼誩銁éå藁嚗?旦ç黇å銁éé¸¼	²⁷And in the morning the man arose, and opened the door that he might end the journey he had begun: and behold his concubine lay before the door with her hands spread on the threshold.
²⁸撠勖°滚旦隤迎¼?丝靘¼穃粥蝵瘀¼滨è?²埝劐荦å䂿»吔¼偦鈭箔噶æ旦擐勖銁撽Ｖ¸¼?丝頨怠硺ºåã	²⁸He thinking she was taking her rest, said to her: Arise, and let us be going. But as she made no answer, perceiving she was dead, he took her up, and laid her upon his ass, and returned to his house.
²⁹å?鈭振鋆∴¼?嚉韏瑕靘¼?雿呓撌梁污嚗?旦ç擃º?¡¼??隞亥åå憓¼	²⁹And when he was come home he took a sword, and divided the dead body of his wife with her bones into twelve parts, and sent the pieces into all the borders of Israel.
³⁰åå»瘣燎ç荦隤迎¼?½惩¦°隞亥å鈭粹蹱见隤迎¼期驱隞亥å摮鼗°眏åå銝¾銝æ嚗?凒å?隞嚗?糓å炏ç䔄ç罚蹱见çº页¼笔之摰呛銝æ嚗?捱摰纸¹见¾?¼?«贝牧å靘滚ç贝¦讠隤迎¼?驱隞亥å摮鼗°眏åå銝¾銝æ嚗?凒å?隞嚗?¾墧ç䔄ç罚¼?¹阆钅蹱见çº卝	³⁰And when every one had seen this, they all cried out: There was never such a thing done in Israel from the day that our fathers came up out of Egypt, until this day: give sentence, and decree in common what ought to be done.
