聖詠集 Psalms
1達味詩歌。天主的眾子,請讚美上主,請將讚美光榮,歸於上主。 1A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David's house.
2請將主名的榮耀,歸於上主,穿上聖潔的華服,朝拜上主。 2I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me.
3上主的聲音響徹水面,天主雷鳴在顯示莊嚴,上主臨到澎湃的水面。 3O Lord my God, I have cried to thee, and then hast healed me.
4上主的聲音具有威權,上主的聲音具有莊嚴。 4Thou hast brought forth, O Lord, my soul from hell: thou hast saved me from them that go down into the pit.
5上主的聲音劈斷了香柏,上主折斷了黎巴嫩香柏; 5Sing to the Lord, O ye his saints: and give praise to the memory of his holiness.
6使黎巴嫩像牛犢一樣舞蹈,使息爾翁像小牛一樣跳躍。 6For wrath is in his indignation; and life in his good will. In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness.
7上主的聲音放射出火舌。 7And in my abundance I said: I shall never be moved.
8上主的聲音震動了曠野,上主震動了卡德士曠野。 8O Lord, in thy favour, thou gavest strength to my beauty. Thou turnedst away thy face from me, and I became troubled.
9上主的聲音搖撼橡樹,剝光森林;凡在他殿中的都齊聲高呼:「光榮。」 9To thee, O Lord, will I cry: and I will make supplication to my God.
10上主坐在洪水之上,上主永遠高坐為王。 10What profit is there in my blood, whilst I go down to corruption? Shall dust confess to thee, or declare thy truth?
11上主必將勇力賜給他的百姓,上主必以平安祝福他的人民。 11The Lord hath heard, and hath had mercy on me: the Lord became my helper.
12 12Thou hast turned for me my mourning into joy: thou hast cut my sackcloth, and hast compassed me with gladness:
13 13To the end that my glory may sing to thee, and I may not regret: O Lord my God, I will give praise to thee for ever.
